He didn't understand what he did wrong. For these evil people to kick him out and he stayed instead of taking off, just shows how much of a great and loyal dog he is...even though his "family" isn't. Yes, the guy who helped had a bond with Leo but probably could not afford to look after and feed such a big dog. The owner should be banned from keeping dogs. There are EU laws but in many countries, they are not upheld and should be. More people should be banned from keeping dogs for life. I worry about the new dog and how the owner treats it to make it nasty to guard the house. Leo is a big, beautiful dog with a big heart and soul. THe former owner is a shrivelled little toad with no soul.

Ken Kloiber: We rescued a German Boxer that his owner named him Diesel. He wanted a guard dog. He surrendered him to the shelter. He is kind and has Epilepsy. We got him around 5 years old. Hank is now 12 and much loved. He has the best life possible.
