one of the problems for this doctrine of 'imminency" like other misguided teaching is the fact that biblical languages are in decline. Many pastors and bible teachers today are, in my opinion, too lazy to learn either Hebrew or Greek and as such choose to interpret the bible from an English translation which conforms to their own pre-suppositions. Another issue is that many of their congregation are also too lazy to "test" their teacher's theology but just accept whatever they are told! Well done to you Baruch for being diligent σπουδάζω in the Word 2 Tim 2:15

Thank you Dr Baruch for all your teachings. They are clear and well supported by scriptures.👍 I came across an explanation that the term "no one knows the day of hour" ( matt 24 :36) is a Jewish idiom that connects to the Feasts of Trumpets. 2 days are set aside for this feast because it is dependent on the appearance of the sliver of the moon. As such, it became known as the day "no man knew the day or the hour" for the beginning of the Feast of Trumpets. Secondly, I have heard several of your messages on Noah's Ark and the associated symbols such as the dimensions of the ark, cover inside & outside with gopher ( which represents covering or atonement) the 40 days (representing change) etc. It is filled with details and symbols which you have explained very well. There is one detail given in 2 passages that covers the duration of the flood : 1.Gen 7 : 11 - In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month-on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened. (start of flood) 2. Gen 8 :13-14- By the first day of the first month of Noah’s six hundred and first year, the water had dried up from the earth. Noah then removed the covering from the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry. 14 By the twenty-seventh day of the second month the earth was completely dry. ( end of flood) What we have is a duration of 1 year 10 days ( 370 days based on 30 days calendar) of the flood or wrath of God for the first judgment on earth by water. Is there a pattern here for us to grasp as to the same time period for the wrath of God for judgment by fire at the end of the age? So when Jesus mentioned in Luke 17 : 26 “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man.", there could be a deeper meaning and understanding for us to take away. Appreciate your input and comments on them.

Taken out of context? Wht abt Matt 24 :37 "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be." The whole passage is abt Noah's Ark & the Lord's coming etc frm v36-44. Do you know there are at least 12 symbols in Noah's Ark account for us to understand?

I have a question. The mystery in 1 Corinthians 15:51 can be related to the mystery in Rev 10:7? In this last verse, when the seventh angel sounds the trumpet, this mystery is finished. By consulting Ephesians 3:3-7, this mystery can be the consummation of the Church age when the final trumpet sounds and all believers are removed from the Earth. Can you bring more light to this matter? The mystery of God is that the Gentiles (believers) are part of the body of Christ and not only Israel.
@joemendiukАй бұрын
I can offer you this insight recently revealed to me by the Holy Spirit. Rev 11:18, with v15-17 for context tells us 3 hugely significant things. First, the time of God's wrath has come, this refers specifically to the wrath of the Father as opposed to the wrath of the Lamb. Notice that at this moment, when this pronouncement is made (v18) that the 7 trumpets have already sounded! Therefore the trumpet judgements comprise the 'wrath of the Lamb' (Rev 6:16) but the 7 bowl judgements remain to be outpoured. Rev 11:18 then tells us that the time of the 'dead' (meaning those not written in the book of life; otherwise they would be included in the third point) that they should be 'judged' (meaning the righteous judgements of the Father being poured out on them) which are contained in the 7 bowls. Thirdly v18 tells us that '[the time] '...And to reward Your servants the prophets and the saints [has come]'; well every believer knows what that reward is, glorification! Therefore it is at this moment of our being glorified that we receive our new bodies, whether resurrected (the first resurrection) or changed. This is our blessed hope. This moment coincides with the sounding of the 7th trumpet and fulfills the mystery (the rapture) of God you cited in 10:7. The 7 bowls of the Father's wrath specifically comprising the wrath to which the saints are not appointed from 1Thes 5:9. *notice Rev 7:9, 14, and particularly v16! Now turn to Rev 16:7-9, the description of the 4th bowl effects upon the men on the earth. Did you catch that? This affirms that it is absolutely the bowl judgements which the saints are not appointed to, but also note that the saints will be on earth during the Lamb's wrath of the 7 trumpets as the rapture occurs with the 7th trumpet sounding!

@@FrankBenitez And there's more, so much confusion about those 144,000s mentioned and the malarkey of they being evangelists evoking an harvest after the rapture of the 7th trumpet, 11:15-18. Scripture only keeps repeating '...they did not repent.' throughout the trumpets and bowls evincing their stony hearts. The 144,000 is the fulfillment of the Abrahamic covenant whom unfortunately must endure not only the seals and the trumpets through all the beginning of sorrows and the great tribulation but then also the most terrible 'Day of the Lord' abundantly described in so many Hebrew prophets. They are rescued with the return of Christ Jesus as King of kings fleeing the beseiged Jerusalem through the valley of split Mt Olives, also in Zech 14. These are those sealed in Rev 7 enabling them to endure the coming wrath of the Lamb, of the trumpets and then also physically living upon the earth throughout the entire 7 bowls to then be rescued as I have said. These will repopulate the earth during the Millennium reign of Christ with the saints. These will be the people, yet mortal while the saints have already been transformed at the appearing of Christ in the sky of the first resurrection/transformation and rapture to heaven (the throne room with it's sea of glass), where shall then be the marriage of the Lamb. After that while the bowls were happening below on earth, then the last 'It is done!' 7th is poured out. Noticing Rev 19:1, the great multitude in heaven, then v6-7 announcing that the marriage time has come. Only after this then does King Jesus return to earth to rescue the 144,000, whom are the remnant, and make war on His enemies, saving Jerusalem (armageddon). Notice that it is His bride the saints accompanying His return. Chpt 14:1-5 describing those redeemed 'from the earth' who endured God's, first the Lamb's, then the Father's, wrath and survived receiving rescue then by grace to glorify Jesus the King in all His authority and righteous might; never having left the earth, unlike the saints. They are His mortal citizens whom continue procreation righteously throughout the millennium, governed and taught by the immortal changed saints. (kings and priests) Finally then Satan is loosed his final little while, deceiving again, and is finally and perpetually condemned to eternal torment along with the Beast and false prophet , their followers burned up on the earth with fire from God.(v20:9). In 20:10, notice no other humans besides these 2 are described in eternal torment but rather the smoke of men, them being burned to ashes in condemnation to the lake of fire, rises forever, their smoke does, their bodies have been incinerated with the souls. Jesus said so in Matt 10:28. Ashes and smoke left, no souls or bodies; permanent annihilation! Then tge millennium ends, tge second resurrection happens, the sheep and goats are separated at the white throne judgement, then finally Death and Hades are also buried up with the condemned. 20:14-15. Then is the recreation, all things made new. New heavens, New earth, New Jerusalem. Etetnal kingdom of righteousness! Chapters 17 and 18 are parenthetical inserts describing in detail the events of the conquests of returned Jesus upon the earth over Jis enemies and the beast system. Chapter 14 also providing similar details of the winepress of God, the blood spilled at the armageddon battle.

Enjoying your teaching thank you. My understanding the church is in heaven with the open door in revelation chapter 4 when the Angel tells John I will show you what happens after this chapters 1-3 the church age. Cronological verses follow. Revelation 5:8-10 NKJV [8] Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. [9] And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, [10] And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”

Brother Baruch I just discovered your videos today. I agree with you that the current teaching about the rapture being imminent is not correct. I have not always felt that way. For about 50 years I have been a Bible teacher and student of Bible prophecy. Perhaps you know the history of current evangelical prophecy teaching. If not, or if some of the readers do not then please permit me to give a brief overview. In 1970 the book 'The Late Great Planet Earth' was published. Hal Lindsey was a co-author. He was a graduate of the Dallas Theological Seminary. The president was prophecy teacher John Walvoord. The teaching in Hal's book came from the teaching of John Walvoord. In one of his books Walvoord said their entire teaching about the endtime stood on the foundation of the teaching of Imminency. Lindsey has been called the father of modern prophecy teaching. Really, Lindsey brought it to the secular market but it was the teaching of Walvoord. The book made it to the top of the New York Times best seller list. This book influenced me greatly as I was just beginning my study of Bible prophecy back in those days. So for about 20 years I was 'one of them.' Then I began to question the teaching about imminency and spent much time in study of that subject. Like you, I could not find support for it in the scriptures. There is so much more I would like to share. I look forward to listening to some more of your videos.

Imminence is more appropriate when used in reference to death - certain as an event but uncertain as to the time. This applies to all who have been / will be born on this the First Earth. Imminence is a term not found in Scripture but used by many preachers to indoctrinate believers into accepting their message as truth just as some denominations use the term Purgatory. By stating that no events need to have happened or happen for Christ to come, are these preachers implying that Christ could have come a second time before the Balfour Declaration of 1917 or before the establishment of the Nation of Israel in 1948 etc or other unfulfilled prophecies of Ezekiel. Luke 21:8-11, 20, 23-24, 27-28 > And He said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. Then said He unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.... And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.... for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled... And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; "for your redemption draweth nigh". Note - Draweth nigh means drawing closer - obviously each passing day brings us closer to the last day. Wrath ? God's wrath is manifested in many ways in the last days and also on The Last Day. Romans 1:18, 24 -28 > For "the wrath of God" is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men; .... For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; ... And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 1 Thessalonians 5:19 > For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Note - Because He spares Believers from HIS final wrath (the second death). Salvation is completed when Believers are Redeemed in the Resurrection to Life and God dwells with them on the New Earth. Note - The final irreversible wrath of God. Thessalonians 1:8-10 > In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power; When He shall come to be glorified in His saints, What is the reward promised to Believers? It's the same that was promised to Abraham (nee Abram). Read Romans 4:3 & 20-24. This is the promised reward for all Believers who will be Redeemed in the Resurrection to Life and God dwells with them on the New Earth. Genesis 15:1 > After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. Romans 4:3 > For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Romans 4 : 20-24 > He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what HE had promised, HE was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on HIM that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; John 5:18 > For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Note - often conveniently ignored when they teach many aspects. Last day - when is it ? Just before eternity to come begins Despite all the ways the Word of God has made clear, why do preachers and teachers talk about pre-trib, mid-trib, post trib etc . Christ's prayer to the Father is "not that thou shouldest them out of the world" John 17:15, > I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. Note - 4 times it says and emphasises in Christ's prayer that He will raise up Believers on "the last day". John 6:39, 40, 44, 54 > And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again "at the last day". And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up "at the last day". ... No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up "at the last day"... Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up "at the last day". John 14:2-3 > In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Note - "will come again" is about the certainly of coming again but it's about coming "at God's pre-ordained time". The phrase "where I am, there ye may be also" is about the New Earth [that comes down from Heaven] and God dwelling with Believers for eternity to come. Revelation 21:1-3 > And I saw a New heaven and a New Earth: for the first heaven and the First Earth were passed away; ... I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, "coming down from God out of Heaven" , ... And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God HIMSELF shall be with them, and be their God. The term "mansions" is not about buildings but about "coverings" that Believers will be cloaked in i.e. with light just as God is because Adam was made in the image of God. Psalm 104:1-2 > Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Who "coverest thyself with light" as with a garment: ... Job 14:12-14 > So man lieth down, and riseth not: "till the heavens be no more" [first heaven - where the birds fly and second heaven where the sun, moon & stars are positioned], they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep. O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me! If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Note - the truth in Job above is also conveyed in 2 Peter 3:10 by referring to this first earth being burned up and finally Revelation 21:1-3 where God tabernacles with believers on the New Earth. 2 Peter 3:10 > But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the Earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. When Death & Hell are cast into the Lake of Fire at the end of time (end of 1000 year reign of Christ from Jerusalem) is when Death is vanquished forever. Shalom From a gentile believer in Christ

Shalom and blessings to everyone at LoveIsrael. Dr. Baruch for some reason i have it understood that the first 3 1/2 yrs of Daniels 70th week would be disguised as being in peace and prosperity for all including Israel? And that the 2 witnesses would be prophesying in the second half of the week after the abomination of desolation occurs and kills them when they are done prophesying for 1260 days as mentioned in Revelation 11 or will they be prophesying the first 3 1/2 yrs??? Pls clarify and edify me on this. Shalom from New Mexico!
@joemendiukАй бұрын
I can comment on this for you. The 2 witnesses prophey for 1260 days, that's clear. But the issue is when do they begin? Here ìs my understanding of that. Remeber that Jesus said that for the elect's sake those days would be shortened (Matt 24:22) We know that the abomination of desolation occurs at the midpoint of the 70th week (Dan 9:27) and that prior to this the Man of Sin will have confirmed a covenant while the false prophet performs lying signs and wonders to affirm worship of the beast which is the abomination of desolation when he enters the holy of holies, therefore those actions of the false prophet commence sometime prior to the midpoint of the 70th week. Now notice when the rapture occurs, at the 7th trumpet (Rev 11:18) and that this occurs shortly after the resurrection and ascension of the 2 witnesses (Rev 11:11-12). But the second half of the 70th week also contains the 'Day of the Lord' (the portion of 'Jacob's trouble' which the saints are not subject to, namely the wrath of the Father of the 7 bowls, noting that Rev 11:18's rewarding of the saints occurs after the 7 trumpets of the Lamb's wrath (Rev 6:16)). Therefore the completion of the 1260 days of the 2 witnesses prophesying occurs shortly before the rapture which occurs sometime after the midpoint but prior to the completion of the second half of the 70th week of 1260 days. By this we can know with certainty that the testimony of the 2 witnesses begins an equal length of time prior to the abomination of desolation as the duration of the 'Day of the Lord' (there is a verse in Isaiah that I can't find just now but it suggests that the 'Day of the Lord' lasts one year). Nonetheless, that these 2 are resurrected and ascend to heaven just before the 7th trumpet and all 7 bowls and have prophesied the 1260 days before their deaths, we can know that their prophesying begins during the time when the false prophet is performing his lying signs and wonders prior to the abomination of desolation, and consequently being in the first half of the 70th week. It is my belief that the miracles as plagues which they can perform are to counter those of the false prophet and the false messiah to which he points to be worshipped because those 2 charlatans will be unable to counter those miracles nor prevent them, thusly refuting such claims as are being made that they are returned 'Elijah' and returned 'messiah'.

Notice what Paul said. THE DEAD SHALL RISE FIRST. THEN THOSE WHO ARE ALIVE AND REMAIN SHALL BE CAUGHT UP TOGETHER WITH THEM. (they will not taste death but be changed in the twinkling of an eye) What does that mean? According to Revelation chapter 20 there are two resurrections. #1. The resurrection of the believers/church. #2 the resurrection of the lost(damned) after the millennium. Jesus will return on the last day as he called it with all the those believers(souls) in heaven that have gone through death. Their body may have been cremated or blown apart in some way. that doesn't matter because when they return with Jesus they will be resurrected into a body of flesh and bone like Jesus. Now According to Paul speaking by the Holy Spirit in Thessalonians he said the DEAD IN CHRIST shall rise FIRST, then those who are alive and remain(rapture). When will Jesus return with the believers? He will return on the last day. When is the last day? Jesus said in Matthew 24:29-31 and Mark 13 it will be immediately after the tribulation.

You seem to be confusing if not conflating Christ's appearing, when coming to the sky we gather to Him which is the rapture, then together returning to heaven while below on earth the 6 bowls of wrath get poured out. After that is when Christ returns to earth for the armageddon battle accompanied by the saints as He returns.

Revelation 7:12-14 KJV - . 13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Sorry Baruch, but I should add another comment. Your description of the Greek infinitive ἀγνοεῖν 'ignorant' is incorrect. The neg particle joined to the verb θέλομεν is not "against knowing" as you teach. The verb Θέλω expresses a strong desire acting on one's volition. In other words, apostle Paul is strongly desiring that the Thessalonians not be ignorant regarding those who are sleeping. Οὐ θέλομεν is not adversive ... God Bless you anyway and thank you for your teaching gift :)

I think you could believe in a midpoint Rapture without violating scripture. Midpoint just means not too long AFTER the Abomination of Desolbation. Unlike pre-wrath where most believe that the Rapture is only months before the end of the 7 years.

The moment of yhe rapture is clearly stated in Rev 11:18 with v15-17 for context. The reward of the prophets and the saints, glorification! This coincides with the 7th trumpet sounding. That's when we are resurrected (the first resurrection) or transformed (for those remaining alive until His appearing) and raptured to heaven while below in earth the 7 bowls of wrath are outpoured.

According to God's word it is impossible for any rapture to occur before the resurrection of those in Christ immediately after the tribulation.

Jesús loves everyone yet it is written.. Psalm 2:1-9 NKJV Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? [2] The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, [3] "Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us." [4] He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. [5] Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure: [6] "Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion." Note - the doctrinal truth is to be found across the many books of the Word of God (Bible) like hidden gems that must be gathered to reveal the whole truth. Mark 13:26 - 32 > And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall He send His angels, and shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.... "But of that day and that hour knoweth no man", no, not the angels which are in Heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Note - The verse above makes it emphatically clear that no man knows [only the Heavenly Father knows] and therefore no credence needs to be given to any church father's interpretation on this matter. Satan is the author of confusion and all the imagination that preachers bring in (gap theory, billions of years, church as the bride of Christ, timing of the gathering, Christ's 2nd coming etc) is because the Devil has lied about the Word of God and his minions have infiltrated the seminaries and many preachers are misguided having accepted the theology of the seminaries]. Who are kept from the hour of temptation & how are they kept . Revelation 3:7-10 > And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; ... I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept My word, and hast not denied My name. Behold, "I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet", and to know that I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the word of My patience, "I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world", to try them that dwell upon the earth. Note - the verses above clearly specify that (i) those (referring to those who say they are Jews but are not because they lie) of the synagogue of Satan will be made to come and worship before the feet of believers at the judgement; The reference to "because thou hast kept the word of my patience" is about the 144000 (whose foreheads are sealed with the seal of the living God - verses in Revelation 7 - whereas the redeemed from the earth - verses in Revelation 14 below is about Believers who keep the faith and not take the mark of the beast despite everything that is unleashed on them during the time of great tribulation.) Revelation 14:1-13 > And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand, having His Father's name written in their foreheads... These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb... And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship HIM ... And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, ... And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, ... Here is "the patience of the saints": here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth" (referring to believers that will die during the time of great tribulation because they chose death over recanting faith): Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Revelation 7:2-4> And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till "we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel." Now let us look at the truths of the examples of God's wrath - the universal flood in the days of Noah (Genesis 6 & 7) when HE destroys the giants created out of the union of fallen angels and daughters of man and all beings whose DNA were corrupted by the giants (Nephilim). Then God's wrath was revealed in Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19) when the wicked inhabitants of that place sought to sexually assault the two angels of God who were given refuge in the house of Lot. God's wrath is now reserved for the ungodly and unrighteous "at the end of the age of grace" - Romans 1:18, 24 -28 > For "the wrath of God" is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men; ... For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; ... And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; The time of tribulation is not a manifestation of God's wrath but the work of the Antichrist and the false prophet. This will be followed by God's judgement / wrath on the nations that come against Israel (Zechariah 14:3-9) and on the beast (Antichrist) rising out of the sea (beyond the Antarctic) as revealed in Revelation 11:7 & Revelation 13:1-10, and the false prophet of Revelation 13:11-18 culminating (after considering 40 years period of administrative transitioning ) in the establishment of the thousand year reign of Christ from Jerusalem. This will be the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth and Hebrew will be the official language of communication between Israel and the nations and in the nation of Israel there will not be any meat based food as prophesied in Isaiah 11:6-9 > The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. ... The final wrath of God is revealed in Revelation 20:7-15 (from which all believers in Christ are spared) at the end of Christ's thousand year reign which is also declared in Thessalonians 1:8-10 > In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power; When He shall come to be glorified in His saints, Note - The following verses refute the often preached rapture or gathering pre-trib, mid-trib or post-trib. Jesus prayer is that the Father not take believers out of the world but to protect them from the evil. John 17:15, 20 > I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. ... Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their word; Daniel 7:21-22 > I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, "and prevailed against them"; Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. Note - the above passage is clearly showing that the Antichrist [horn] prevailed against the saints until Jesus Christ's second coming. "He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him." This verse you quoted seems rather contradictory. Earlier in the passage, he seems to mean that those who are asleep are of the night (which is not believers, who are of the day). So this verse would be saying whether we are those who watch (believers) or asleep, those of the world and of night, they will live together with Him. That is not possible. The ones who are asleep of the night won't live together with Him. So might the awake or asleep mean rather, whether alive in Christ (living at that time) or dead in Christ (not alive at that time? This is a confusing passage. It's kind of saying, IF you interpret is as watching, that it doesn't matter whether you are awake (watching) or not, because you'll be with the Lord EITHER WAY. It seems to me to mean whether you are among the living or dead believers, you will be raptured/resurrected.

how are we able to ask questions? I understand the bible that we the gentles are wild olive branches and are grafted into the tree which is Israel. So everything that happens to Israel would be all of us being we are the olive tree? Also, as Baruch just read Paul, stated until the Lord comes and Messiah himself stated in Mathew chapter 24 that until He returns he will send His angles to gather everyone that is His from all corners of the earth. My question is, how can there be a rapture prior the return of the Lord and be 2 resurrection? The only people I know get that privilege are the 144 in chapter 14:4 being the first fruits of Yeshua.

I suspect that all who have ever lived are alive today. To make room for us all there is multiple sharing of one body so it's important we cleave to the accurate teaching of Jesus, and why there is so much confusion in the world. According to this, our 'last generation', obedience to the word of Jesus Christ will depend our comfort and health, our close relationships with fellow believers and our families. It's clear to me we can unravel our health if we use righteous obedience and this will enable us to pass into the new heavens and the new Earth, after Wormwood.

Of course His coming is imminent, for nothing need happen before Jesus comes to the sky to call up His church. This is true for the simple reason that 6 comes before 7 in counting. The 6th seal start of God's wrath will certainly be opened before the 7th seal that will begin the 70th Week. Where is the church now in the book of Revelation? The church is waiting at the 5th seal (the martyrs of the church age) for the final church age martyr. Once the final martyr is killed, then Judgment can begin - and it will begin with the start of God's wrath at the 6th seal. The first seal was opened around 32 AD, as soon as Jesus ascended and got the book into His hands. It is to represent the church sent out with the gospel. Seals 2, 3, and 4 are to represent Satan's attempts to stop the church. God has allowed him to use wars, famines, pestilences and wild beasts, But limited their theater of operation to only 1/4 of the earth. Of course that one fourth would be centered on Jerusalem, so would probably include Europe, the Middle East and Africa - the very place wars, famines and pestilences have plagued the world.

Just read Rev 11:18 with v15-17 for context. Our reward is glorification. Glorification is when we recieve our new bodies upon resurrection or transformation, this is the rapture and coincides with the 7th trumpet sounding and prior to the 7 bowls of wrath to which h the saints are not appointed (1Thes 5:9)
@LyleCooperАй бұрын
@@joemendiuk Sorry, Joe, but we are not appointed to God's wrath. Where does God's wrath begin in Revelation? It begins with the DAY of His wrath (also called the Day of the Lord) which Day will begin when the 6th seal is opened. 16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. 18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. Joe, IN CONTEXT, verse 18 is a PROPHECY (foretelling future events) spoken by the 24 elders. Every verb here (except "fear") is an Aorist verb which shows not tense or timing. "Thy wrath is come" only shows us that God is still angry. His wrath began at the 6th seal. "the nations were angry" probably did not begin here, but with the trumpet judgments. The time the dead get judged will be after the 1000 years. At this time in John's narrative, at the exact midpoint, God has been "destroying them." The 6th trumpet destroyed one third of earth's population. Go back to Paul in 1 Thes. 4 and 5, and notice that the rapture (4:17) was mentioned only three verses before the Day of the Lord is mentioned. The pre-wrathers believe that the rapture and the start of the Day of the Lord will be back to back events. I agree with them. I like to say that the rapture will be the trigger for the start of the Day of the Lord. This timing is confirmed when John SAW the just-raptured church in heaven as that great crowd, too large to number. Take note that John's chpater 7 intermission is right after the 6th seal. Therefore, I disagree with you here. Thanks for writing.
@joemendiukАй бұрын
@LyleCooper so it seems that you have a few things confused here. Some clarification of specific time periods in the sequence of events would help you more clearly see their progression. Our Lord Jesus thankfully and thoughtfully provided us with enough detail to make these distinctions. Essentially the 70th week is comprised of 3 distinct periods as evinced in the Olivet discourse and confirmed elsewhere in scripture. Allow me to lay these out for you. I'm not going to go into explicit detail here for you now, I could do that, perhaps later if you prove interested, but for the sake of this present discussion I'll only summarize them. They are as follows, firstly there comes the beginning of sorrows. This Jesus described in Matt 24:4-8, notice what exactly is happening during this first phase and understand that these events spoken of, although allowed by our Father in heaven and initiated by Jesus's breaking the seals each at a time, on the earth below the events occurring are caused by the actions of the rising beast in concert with the demonic spirits influencing the minds of men, men of influence and power. You can think 'globalists' if in our present time this helps you identify such human actors. The beast's agents if you like. This first phase spans essentially the first half of the 70th week and involves the first 4 seals, the four horsemen. The first of which denotes the Lawless one as he goes out conquering by deception, masquerading as a messiah. He confirms a covenant with many to commence the 70th week. It seems most probable that this covenant involves Israel the geo-political entity in the eastern medditeranean which will establish some form of 'peace and safety' in the region and allow for the construction of a Judaen temple in Jerusalem. We understand this is required in order that at the midpoint of the 70th week, this false messiah enters it's Most Holy Place desicrating it with the 'abomination of desolation', his presence there. It is during this first phase, this time period of the first 42 months that the false prophet will be performing lying signs and wonders and directing towards the worship of the Man of Sin. Even calling down fire from heaven (the sky, earth's atmosphere) in the sight of men (Rev 13:12-14). By this most profound great sign he replicates (counterfiets) the fulfillment of Malachi 3:1 and 4:5 which is necessary to successfully execute this deception. He usurps the role of Elijah! This is particularly effective for deceiving the 'Jews' and perhaps many Christians as well, in part fulfilling the great apostasy. Remember Jesus' warning, the first thing He said about these days, and repeating it several times, don't be decieved! It is also during this first period, the 'beginning of sorrows' that the 2 witnesses begin their activities. This too can be proven by scripture; more on them later. As I have said, this time period encompasses the first 4 seals. That brings us to the opening of the fifth seal. I will show you here the correlation of several scriptural streams which each address this second period, the 'great tribulation'. Note that it is a distinct and specific period of time encompassing it's specific events, distinct from the period before it, the 'beginning of sorrows' with it's distinct events, and seperate and distinct from the third period which follows it, the 'Day of the Lord' with it's distinct events. Each of these 3 time periods collectively encompassing that 7 years of the 70th week of Daniel 9. So let's now return to Matt 24, this time picking up in v9-14. This description differs from that of the beginning of sorrows in one most significant way, v9 informs us that the intense persecution of the church commences wholesale, and the martyrdom of the saints intensifies to it's maximum! So what 'sign' did Jesus tell us about to be most watchful for? Look to Matt 24:15 for the answer, the 'abomination of desolation'! Verses 16-20 provide direction for how this second period of that 70th week should be handled by both 'Jews' (non-decieved ones) and Christians alike; recalling that this discourse is being given to Messiah's disciples, Christians of 'the Way' (Acts 9:1-2). Jesus said to His disciples (Matt 24:3-4), this Jesus said to Christians, His disciples, privately, not to 'Jews', and in speaking to them (His disciples; Christians) Jesus said (v15) 'Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, then let those in Judea (because this is the location where this maximum persecution begins, spreading over the whole earth from there), flee to the mountains,...'; because as v21 plainly says, 'For then there will be GREAT TRIBULATION, such as not has been since the beginning of the world until this time (the 'great tribulation'), no, nor ever shall be.' So this is abundantly clear, upon the 'abomination of desolation', when the Lawless one enters the Most Holy Place. 《So hopefully you can recognize and appreciate that in composing this response to your comment I am spending a lot of time, offered to you as but a single person, because of my love for the brethren and for truth, and my disdain for the deceptions of error which are so prolific in Jesus' little flock, the church, His body, today. Therefore because I do have other more mundane chores to attend to (I still have my daily life things which must get done) I am taking a pause here to resume this clarification later today. I do not want however, to lose this what I have thus far composed for you. So I am posting this as yet unfinished composition now, to return to later and complete for you. Please follow up later to recieve the completed composition. Thanks for your patience, sincerely, your brother, just Joe.》

@@joemendiuk Joe, I find it comical that I am always the one confused or wrong. "Essentially the 70th week is comprised of 3 distinct periods as evinced in the Olivet discourse" "First is the 'beginning of sorrows..." I disagree. There is the first half and the last half and the abomination is the division point. If you notice in verse 6 Jesus said, "the end is not yet." He was not yet talking about "the end." If we understand Luke's version about the city being surrounded, we can look back and see that that part of His discourse was church age, which fits with "the end is not yet. I know that the 70th week will begin with the opening of the 7th seal (which allows the book to be opened) and with the first trumpet. The first half of the Week will be the first six trumpets. "involves the first 4 seals, the four horsemen. " Sorry, Joe, but you are pulling those first four seals out of their AD 32 context. If you understand chapters 4 & 5, Jesus took the book and began opening the seals when He ascended and sent the Holy Spirit down. Seal one (1) is the CHURCH taking the GOSPEL to the world. Seals 2, 3, and 4 are the devil's attempts to stop the advance of the gospel. God has allowed Satan to use wars, famines and pestilences to try and stop the gospel, but God LIMITED him to only one fourth of the earth; probably Europe, the Middle East and Africa. I GREATLY appreciate the time you have spent here. May I take a guess and say that you are pre-wrath in your position of the rapture? I have written several books showing where pre-wrath miss the truth of scripture. However, I think for now, I should explain HOW and WHY I believe what I believe. God spoke to me, in what seemed like an audible voice. First He sent me to find "the entire 70th week, 'clearly marked." I found that God marked the 70th week with sevens: the week will begin at the 7th seal, the midpoint is marked with the 7th trumpet, and the week will end at the 7th bowl. John does not get to the days of great tribulation (GT) until late in Chapter 14. (I know, Rosenthal and Van Kampen imagined days of GT in the seals. That is all it is, imagination. Here is how God taught me about Chapters 4 & 5. I will end this and start another post.

@@joemendiuk Continued: One day I began to meditate on chapters 4 and 5. Finally, after a week or two, I got stuck on John weeping much, and I could not get away from that. I began to bug God about that, asking Him why we needed to know why John wept, and why it was “much.” That day I had an encounter with God. He spoke to me and said, “It shows timing.” Again, I spent days reading and meditating and praying in the Spirit, and I could not find timing anywhere, so continued to bug Him about it. Finally, perhaps two more weeks, and He said, “It also shows the movement of time.” Again, I studied, read, meditated, prayed in the spirit, and again I could not find any “movement” of time! I kept bugging God about this, telling Him I could not find timing or the movement of time anywhere. Finally, God had great mercy on my slowness, and spoke to me: “Son, I will ask you three questions about this passage of scripture. Until you can answer these questions correctly, you will never understand this vision. 1. “Why did John not immediately see Me at the right hand of the Father in chapter four? I ascended back into heaven years before John saw this vision. There are over a dozen verses showing that I went to be at the right hand of the Father. Stephen SAW me there. Why then did John not immediately see Me at the right hand of the Father?” As before, when He spoke, I was “in the spirit” and could not answer by thinking of an answer and speaking. However, my spirit man answered, “I cannot answer that question.” Again, He spoke. 2. “John watched a search to find one worthy to open the seals-a search that ended in failure-and that is the reason John wept much: no man was found worthy. However, if you read ahead, you find that I was found worthy to break the seals. Why then was I not found in that first search?” Again, my spirit man answered, “Lord, I cannot answer that.” Then He asked me the third question: 3. “If you notice in chapter 4, the Holy Spirit was still in the throne room. I told the disciples that as soon as I ascended, I would send Him down. Why was the Holy Spirit still in the throne room in chapter 4?” Again, my spirit man said that he could not answer this question. The Lord did not say more at that time. I studied diligently on that vision of the throne room, trying to answer His questions. I could not see any timing. I could not see the movement of time. I could not figure out why Jesus was not at the right hand of the Father. I could not figure out why “no man was found.” I could not figure out why the Holy Spirit was still there. I spent weeks looking and asking God for help. Finally, after three or four more weeks of study, I heard His voice again. He said, “Go and study chapter 12.” When I turned to chapter 12, He spoke and gave me a synopsis of that chapter. “This chapter was Me introducing John to the dragon, and in particular, what the dragon would be doing during the last half of the week; but I also chose to show John what the dragon did when I was born. The first five verses were a ‘history lesson’ for John. Count how many times the dragon is mentioned, including pronouns.” I counted 32 times. I could see that chapter 12 was certainly about the dragon! I sat meditating on “history lesson” for a minute or two, and then He said, “Now you can go back and study chapters 4 and 5 again.” I would guess this interlude on chapter 12 was less than one hour. At first, I could not understand why He sent me there. But now I know: it was to get “history lesson” into my thinking. You see, the first five verses of chapter 12 were Jesus showing John what the dragon did to attempt to destroy Him shortly after He was born. These events were before John was born, so was certainly a “history lesson” for him. I turned back to begin meditating again on chapters 4 and 5, but discovered that it was different than before. In one instant of time, I could answer all three of His questions. To this day I am not sure that was a “download” of revelation knowledge or if just having “history lesson” in my mind made the difference. I immediately knew that this was a vision of the past, or another “history lesson” for John: he was seeing into the throne room of the past, before Jesus rose from the dead. Jesus was not seen at the right hand of the Father, because He was still on earth. “No man was found” worthy to break the seals, because Jesus had not yet risen from the dead to become the redeemer worthy to break the seals. And the Holy Spirit was still in the throne room, because Jesus had not yet ascended to send Him down. Then, in chapter 5, we see the movement of time; another search was started as soon as the first one ended in failure. But in this subsequent search, someone was found. Time was moving, and at this time, Jesus had risen from the dead, and was immediately found worthy. In this vision, John got to see the very moment Jesus ascended into the throne room, after telling Mary not to hold onto Him for He had not yet ascended. Then we see, the moment Jesus arrived in the throne room, that the Holy Spirit was sent down. This then, Jesus’ ascension, sets the context and timing of the first seal. One cannot find 2000 years between these verses. Looking back, it seems God has been teaching me the Chronology of Revelation. Mostly people jump the gun, so to speak, read about the first seal, and declare it to be the Antichrist. They have pulled that seal out of its ascension and sending the Holy Spirit down context.
