Sometimes, we see great performers "over-sing" their parts in an effort to either stand out or put their stamp on the song. I admire how both Josh and Sissel exercise discipline and restraint from falling into self-indulgence. Most everything that can be said the talents of each singer has been extolled by better writers than myself but one note about Sissel - her vocal purity is beyond reach of any other singer I've ever heard.

Sissel is my favorite female vocalist of all time... And as soon as Josh started singing, she forgot the lyrics. Just think of how good of a singer you would have to be to impress her so much that she forgets the words to the song! I mean holy hell! If your voice is so good that it causes one of the best singers in history to forget her lyrics, you must be doing something right!

Sissel is my favorite soprano. I am Norwegian and remember her tv debut. If it wasn't for Sissel, I don' think that I'd listen to such music as I am into jazz and rock music. I see in the comment section for various of her videos ppl sometimes recommend other quality sopranos. Sometimes I check but so far there's no match. Sissel has no singing education. She's a raw talent. Back in the days when she made her debut and during the 80's, Norwegians knew that she was the highest international standard. Sissel and chess player Magnus Carlsen will never again be found in little Norway.
