This show taught me so much growing up. A lot of it definitely didn't age well, but I learned how to set my own boundaries and to be responsible for my own sexual health. Classic moments like this are unforgettable. I remember listening live, DAG episodes were some of my favorites.

How did it not age well? DAG is the only think about this show that didn't age well

@@YoungNino2017 Drew being virulently anti-weed and pro-opiates for all pain management. Adam's sexism and racism. The way it put the onus of sexual responsibility on girls and treated boys like drooling morons incapable of being safe. A lot more than that. I went back and listened to old episodes a couple years ago and it is definitely cringe inducing. But that is mixed with a ton of great advice and info. Loveline was a product of its time, like most things are, and the world has changed since it was in its heyday. DAG didn't age nearly as bad as a lot of the more mundane instances of yikes on the show lol.

@@shewow8612 I understand exactly what you mean. But I don't think we should look back at the Adam/Drew years too harshly. There's plenty of things that haven't aged the best, but at the same time they provided a really important service, at an important time. I know that myself and a lot of the other young people I knew at the time learned more about sex, human biology, relationships, love, drugs, etc from Loveline than anything else. And they did so much to promote protection, birth control, Plan B. It is definitely irritating how Drew has become a complete media whore these days unfortunately. And I wish he wasn't so anti-cannabis either, but based on the time he became a doctor, it's not surprising he'd hold some antiquated views. I don't ever recall him being pro-opiates though, quite the opposite in fact.

I was to young to hear this when I used to listen to this show. The day adam left was a sad day.

That is pure comedy gold. I literally have to pause this to catch my breath every time I play it.

The sad part is, that DAG's famous line isn't on any of the known Loveline Soundboards out there.

Drew ended up giving one of his daughters a major eating disorder.

Bet her overbearing mother Susan had a big part in her disorder too. The pair of them are wound way too tight. I always hated drew on the show. The best part of the show was Adam's constant busting of Drew's balls.
