When watching this video I started actively looking at the clips through a queer lens, and when that scene showed up, ESPECIALLY his dad saying he's a late bloomer, it completely floored me as an aspec person. Being told (and also believing) you're a late bloomer is such a common experience for asexuals. And now that I think about it, Will starting school at Sky High without any powers and without knowing if he would ever have any, can also be compared to the aromantic/asexual experience, but I won't get into all that now.
