Ive always though the difference betwern Hurrem and Kosme was thst Hurrem wanted revenge for her family never to feel like a piece of property. Kosem didnt want revenage she wanted return home to her family but instead fell in love. Both women married a sultan had children by him. They both reached a level power that im guessing in that time women only dreamed of.

I used to think this was a fun show to watch years ago. Re -watching it now in my late 30s, I'm a little disturbed by the glamorization and romanticization of literal human trafficking.
