Bobbin trick: there is a hole in the bobbin that you can put the thread thru when you are re-winding a bobbin instead of wrapping it around to get started. Sometimes that can be loose and hard to get started. Just poke the thread thru that hole, hold it up, and start spinning, then cut it off at any time.

Can you do a how to sew a (something) video for all of us newbies? This fabric is beautiful I love the colors. I love your videos too❤
@BootsandBountyHomestead4 ай бұрын
In stead of using the facing, You can also just cut 2 apron fronts, put the ties on between the layers, sew the pockets on, then put them right sides together and sew the whole thing together, flip, stitch closed. If you leave the bottom open when you flip, you can add a ruffle or something and sew closed at that tims.You can make them reversible too with two different fabrics lol.

Great idea! I think the reversible with two different fabrics would be perfect!

The roast taco's looked so good, I imagine the leftover meat would freeze and reheat well too. I like the color of your kitchen cabinets! Mine are a pretty blue color (painted old cabinets) ~ yours are very cheerful!

I have been sewing like 12yrs and I still can't sew anything in an hour lol. Also I was a SAHM, homemaker for 10 years and you are giving me a new appreciation for those years. In my experience society doesn't value homemakers anymore but this is how that view changes!

i am absolutely loving your channel! thank you so much for sharing all you do 💖 this might be a silly question but what are the washer shaped weights that you use while cutting the pieces for your sewing projects? I took a peek in your amazon store front and didn't see them in there. thank you again and happy belated mother's day!

Andrea, your seedlings look a bit nitrogen starved. Yellow leaves is a clue. Starter mix and using just water will wash out any nutrients for tiny plants . A good multipurpose fertilizer will fix that 😊for the future.

Genuinely curious your thoughts on raw milk for your dairy issues? Considering your sisters and how close y’all are, I’m sure you’re well informed on raw milk versus pasteurized lol! We have dairy goats and have no issues with their milk but I’ve never had raw cows milk to know if we’d struggle with that or not. Beautiful video!!

I am trying to heal my gut to get to the point where I can drink raw milk! I try it every once in a while and I am still sensitive to it! 😫 I am curious about goats milk. The test I took specifically tested for cows milk.

@@Oursweetsunnydays that’s so interesting! None of our allergies are too terrible but I do notice issues drinking milk and as a kid it made me very sick. That changed with my second pregnancy weirdly enough! I don’t have any issues with goats milk though. Prayers for a healed gut and some delicious milk for you soon 😋

I just painted 5 rooms in our house to freshen up rooms and just can’t get the kitchen right. I picked a pale sage, but it looks like mint milk. The sunroom ended up buttercream after years of red copper. How do you pick your room colors?

I wish I would have seen these kinds of videos already when I was just given birth to my first child (and had just turned 21 years old myself). Society doesnt give much value to the homemaker and motherhood so its very nice to watch videos that appreciate work happening at home!

Oh how I wish there would have been KZbin to watch when I was a young mom of 4 back in the 80's. We frequently were transfered and I had to start over making friends with other moms. KZbin would have helped me not to feel lonely during those transitions (I was a sahm). I also learn so much (like sewing certain things and cooking new recipes) technology really is so helpful.
