My partner died last year, he received insurance money from his employer. We had been together for almost 10 years, we have condo under our names and currently under mortgage. My partner’s family decided not to give me a share from the insurance money. I’m a bit disappponted but I guess ganyan talaga ang katotohan sa Pilipinas for LGBT couples. Agree ako sa last part about family toxicity. Living independently is a solution talaga if you have issue with your family. Kasi I can relate to that i had issue with my parents and nag drop ako nung college kasi di ko gusto yung kurso and i start looking for a job and work for myself kasi sabi ko that time my money my rules and looking back now, I was right.
