I used to show Danes and merles, especially blue merles tend to have something wrong in their brain- temperament is not the same, heart issues deafness, blindness I have seen in Danes. Great videos as always! We appreciate the time you take to come up with these videos! Not sure if you knew but I just akc registered 2 frenchies and to get a close enough color choice, you need to take a couple of pictures of the pup, front view side view of both sides and all pictures must be with the pup standing and you would then submit those to an akc email address and they choose the color for you, I have a blue Frenchie and they actually put down blue 🤙🏽 And for my blue Merle they chose (blue spotted)

Cream that carrues blue and brindle

My cousin has a one year old red frenchie. He had the dog DNA tested and now calls her cream. This is the dogs DNA below. What color is she? The dog looks RED like the red Vizla color......... definitely doesnt look cream. Its so dumb to me that he is calling the dog cream yet she is a bright bright red. Clarify this. That is a cream dog ee. But cream is all the way from milk color to red

It seems like bringing in more genetic variations would be better. Meaning trying to breed for different non standard colors would be better for overall health.

I have a blue female. She has the slightest what looks like a brindle mark on her front leg. What would she be considered? Her mother is a brindle. Just curious if she’s a blue or a blue and brindle based off that small marking on her front leg? Anyone can answer
