When i downloaded the meets app i was new to the app it said on the screen “im using the app right now” (according to google translate) and it wont open! It just stays on the screen and dont let me on the app. Any advice on this? Im sorry to be asking this question in a old vid but its urgent!

Hi Daisy! Unfortunately, the Meets app was discontinued in February and can no longer be used. The On app should still be available for the next few months, so give that a try!

What version (Fairy, Magical, etc) are you using? And double check if your app is updated :)

@@LovePandaBunny I am using purple magical meets, and my app is of the latest version. Maybe is the issue of the app itself?

It could be a lot of things D: Unfortunately, the Tamas can sometimes be really touchy. For example, with my pink Magical, I have to start the tablet "searching" for the Tama first. If I have the Tama trying to connect first, it doesn't work. Personally, I'd uninstall and reinstall the app, make sure Bluetooth is on, then try again. It's a pain, but that's a good troubleshooting place to start!

I was playing with the Tama Meets app last night. I haven’t yet connected my Meets to it because it hasn’t arrived in the mail. I did the whole FakeGPS app for spoofing my GPS signal and played around with the getting gifts functionality. But one thing I noticed was that while some on KZbin I’ve seen do this trick got 2-3 items plus money from each city they connected their GPS to, I only got 1 item and no money. I’d be interested to know if this is because I don’t have a Tamagotchi Meet connected to it yet or whether I’m doing something wrong. Also, my hubby is getting a Meets too so can we both connect our Meets to the same app with the same profile? Or is there a way in the app to make more than 1 profile? How many Tama Meets can we have linked to the app at any given time? As I said I’m getting a White Meet and if that Sanrio Meets turns out to be true, I’ll be getting that and my hubby is getting the Pastel Meets coming out next month. Thanks for any insights you have on this & thank you for all your videos. I really enjoy watching them and I’m so happy to be a part of the Tamagotchi Community now!! ❤️

Hmm... I apologize; because I haven't tried to spoof my GPS, I'm not sure if that amount you are receiving depends on if the Meets is connected. For having multiple Tamagotchis connected to the app, I have not done this before. But bear with me here-- from looking at the app, I think we can assume some things. The profiles are saved to your Tamagotchi after playing; NOT saved on the phone. In the app, you can see the connections you've previously made; they are labeled "[Profile Name]の[Character Name]". Only one Tama can be active in the app at a time, but it will show three previous connections. This leads me to believe that each Tamagotchi Meets unit you connect will have its own profile. If my logic is correct, then both your husband and you will each have your own separate profiles. I'm sorry I don't have a real answer for you. I wish I did (and I certainly hate not knowing lol). Please let me know if there's anything else I can try to help with.

Oh this works on the mix? I haven't bought a meets yet but I do have three mixes and didn't know they worked with an app. I thought that was new for the meets

The app was new for the Meets, but the Mix can be connected as well! The functions with the Mix are limited, but it was nice of Bandai to add the backwards compatibility.

You just download it from the app store. But when you connect with an android you need to turn your BLUETOOTH and LOCATION on for it to connect.

Hello :D Yes, there is an app for connecting to the Tamagotchi On. The Tamagotchi Meets and On are almost identical; the only big difference is that the Meets is in Japanese, and the On is in English.

I tried this but I'm having issues :( When I try to connect it the app doesn't ask me what type of Tamagotchi I have, it just tries to connect right away, then it tells me "Your Tamagotchi On is already registered, would you like to proceed" or something and I press yes and then it tells me it didn't work. Im confused since I just turned on my Tamagotchi for the first time and don't have any others

Are you using the On or Meets app? I would recommend uninstalled the app, reinstalling, then powering off your phone/tablet and turning it back on.

Can you give me a little more info about the situation? What version Tama are you using, are you using Android or Apple, and if you're using the Meets or On app

@@LovePandaBunny I'm using the purple one (tamagotchi ON, I think) and I'm using android. I was also talking about the app. It shows that it's trying to connect. My Bluetooth acknowledges my tamagotchi but when I click on it to connect it says I need to go to settings on the device. Am I missing something else that should be on while trying to connect?

You can hit the center button and select to return without connecting; this will get the Tamagotchi back on the Meets/On device. The pet save data never leaves the device, so you can never actually "lose" your Tama in the app.
