@justme-dm7sb4 жыл бұрын
Its exactly like that in most killings like that. Columbine through Sandy Hook people knew what was up. Its not the gun laws that need to change, its the privacy policy of psychopaths. I think they should be tatooed on the face. That guy that killed all those little kids at Sandy Hook had a long serious history of mental illness, and I don't mean depression. He was unstable and dangerous and everybody knew it, THOSE are the people with childrens blood on their hands, all in the name of privacy for a psychopath.
@justme-dm7sb3 жыл бұрын
@S There is already gun laws that prevent mentally ill people from having or getting guns. The one thing that hasn't changed is the privacy laws that protect the dangerous people. I understand that there should be privacy to a point, until a person becomes a known danger. Some liberals say if a felon has done their time their rights should be restored when their time is paid. If it was a violent crime that involved weapons I disagree. Most states already have laws to that effect, except maybe Alaska. What most states don't have is a law that says when a person is deemed unstable and dangerous their status should become publicly accessible. The teachers son that killed all the Sandy Hook children was a known danger. The mom and all the Dr.'s he had seen knew it but no one else, including the cops, was allowed to know because of privacy laws. That is the problem. Every single time I have bought a gun since I was 20 years old I have had to answer 2 pages of questions about who I am, where I was born, where I live, my mental and drug use status, law and current court status, and more. It includes giving permission for them to check my mental health status. Do you think that is actually happening? It didn't happen with the school shooters because they didn't buy those guns, they stole them. Same with so many street crimes. Do you think the laws need to be tougher on thieves? I do. They may not be the ones using the guns they steal in a theft but they are the ones putting those guns in the hands of people who do. What if stealing one gun would get you 50 years in prison? Can you see a thief telling his buddies " leave the guns so we will only get a year if we get caught". Incentive pays, but they don't make laws like that. There is still a law on the books in my state that says a horse thief can be hung, yet still no law that says a gun thief can be hung. I find it ironic. I know a guy that had all of his guns stolen from his house and the thieves burned his house down to hide that fact, but it didn't work. Gun barrels do not melt down in a meer house fire. He didn't find one gun barrel among the bed springs, change, and appliances, which also don't melt down. If those people are ever caught they should get life but they won't. They might get seven years for the arson. Thats rediculous. I believe we need to rethink what laws need changed. Not the laws that allow us to protect ourselves from thugs and gangs. Lets change the laws that make it really scary for criminals to commit crimes. Ever notice how drunk driving deaths went down when the drunk DRIVER laws got really tough? It should be that way for unlawful gun posession, not making criminals out of law abiding citizens like they are trying to do now. Its not my fault if a person drives drunk any more than it is that people steal. People need to be held accountable for what they do, not someone else. That is exactly where the "gun laws" are going wrong. They want to charge us for what other people do. Its rediculous. Put blame where blame is due. If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. Is that the world you want to live in? I don't.

When I was 17 I ended it with my girlfriend because I suspected her of cheating. Next day I saw on social media she was with a new guy the night I broke up with her. It hurt pretty bad so I went and purposely wrecked my car in a suicide attempt. Got out of the hospital and my mom took me to a restaurant to cheer me up. I met my current girlfriend there, she was our waitress and I thought she was cute so my mom told me I should leave my number. We have been together 11 years now and have two beautiful little girls. Point is, I tried to hurt myself NOT other people. And if my girlfriend left me today I’d get over it. Lots of fish in the sea. Definitely not worth ruining your life or the lives of others over.

@@nathanenfinger9559 But guns do have a big part to play in this. It is very easy to pull a trigger and kill, but it is not so easy to kill someone with your bare hands. That is a key difference, because making it so incredibly easy to kill, by basically pressing a button, means that many people will have died because the killer made a terrible split second decision in the heat of the moment of rage or fear. On the other hand, having to actually get right up in someones face and stab or beat them is something that many people simply do not have in them, or at least would give them serious pause. Pulling a trigger from a distance makes it far too easy, far too lethal, and if you think that doesn't play any role in gun murders, and that there is nothing wrong with having a society flooded with guns, then well you are going to be impossible to reason with. By the way, i am speaking in more general terms. This person demonstrated clear premeditation.

Emotion and logic exist separately, (most of the time) emotions are created by a series of chemicals made either in the brain or in other specific parts of the body. They influence the synapses and thoughts of one's brain. This is what the majority of people in the world run on, and they don't have good control over them either. Logic, which is by it's very nature, objective, it allows the veil of emotion to be lifted. If he was trained to use logic and reasoning, practiced and refined it, he wouldn't have had his emotionally charged actions, when I gain an infatuation, I very much know the objectivity of it, and don't act on it, however there are very subtle things that I don't have control over despite me being aware of them when it comes to infatuation. He didn't, (and probably still doesn't) realize the paradoxical nature of his thinking. He claimed he loved her, (which at that age was 99% likely infatuation), with chemicals such as norepinephrine, (The chemical in the brain released that causes one to be territorial over a potential mate, and almost for sure the forefront of the chemicals in his brain at that time). He logically knew she wasn't his anymore, emotionally though, he felt it was a betrayal. He assumed she was seeing other guys after their break up which caused him to be bitter despite not being in a relationship with her, so he goes to kill the people and her because he believes he will never get her back. He knew what he was doing, but the lack of real education and proper teaching by the parents led to his criminal actions. Don't trust anyone, live alone, and educate yourself…always.
@Theendman427 жыл бұрын
And yet except for being able to define logic, how logic operates within the brain is unknown to me. I don't think studies have figured it out either.

Guns serve one purpose and that is to make killing as easy as possible. If you allow easy access to them then you end up like the USA with the worst murder rate of any developed nation. In my country people cannot get guns since a mass shooting 25 years ago and we haven't had a mass shooting since. How you cannot see the difference between a gun and a car I cannot imagine.
@Vgp-rp4iu5 жыл бұрын
@@AnyoneCanSee good for you. I like guns and own a bunch. That will never change. Oh and none of my guns have ever killed anyone. Let's just ban knives too and cars while we are at it. Criminals will always be able to get guns illegally and if a criminal breaks into my home while me and my family are sleeping you can bet your ass he won't be leaving. I am a responsible gun owner and have had proper gun safety training and concealed carry permit that doesn't make me a bad person either.
@AnyoneCanSee5 жыл бұрын
@@Vgp-rp4iu - My comment was literally an answer to someone talking about cars. How exactly would this kid have walked into the party with a car and killed all these people? Again, guns are designed to kill very easily anywhere at any time. No, criminals will not 'always be able to get guns illegally.' In the UK there are only 40 murders with guns each year, most with legally owned shotguns. In the USA there are over 10,000 murders with guns each year. The population is only 5 times higher. 5 x 40 = 200, not 10,000. Obviously, your nation can keep your guns but again this is the reason your nation has all these mass shootings like this and my nation has ZERO. It is the reason you have home invasions, carjackings and by far the highest murder rate of any developed nation. Because gun make killing and coming crimes far easier. You obviously don't want to change that and don't care about things like these kids being killed. Well, that's your choice. But school shootings and the things at the synagogue a couple of days ago will keep happening, because of guns. Lastly, gun owners often talk about freedom. Well, in my country the police do not have guns as standard. No one ever dies at a traffic stop as the cops do not have guns. Why, because criminals do not have guns so they do not need them. This means only one or two people die in encounters with the police each year, sometime zero. In the USA your police kill 1500 citizens without trial. That is higher than most brutal dictatorships. So you are not free. You actually live in a police state where they use guns as an excuse to kill who they like.
@AnyoneCanSee5 жыл бұрын
@@Vgp-rp4iu - No the USA has far more Muslims murdering people also. You know that can easily be checked. I'm not even sure where you think people are using 'exploding trucks?' Try not to be so nationalist and look at your nation. Even the number of people killed by cops. What do you think about that?

Then got butt hurt she didn't want him back. You also ignored that he made SEVERAL threats that he was going to do this. Which everybody ignored. GUNS don't kill people... Stupid fucks like this do. People should have the right to bare arms. Making it illegal to own or purchase a gun would do nothing. Heroin is illegal to buy, use, and sell. But, it has become a complete EPIDEMIC over the last few years. As have many other drugs. If somebody wants something bad enough, they will find a way to get it. Legally or illegally...
@katherinemonroe35517 жыл бұрын
Pedro Gallegos Are you an idiot? Did you not listen to the whole story or did you just hear what you wanted to hear? Anna and the 2 young men DIDN'T ask for this to happen, they DIDN'T do anything to deserve several rounds being pumped into their bodies, and they DIDN'T want to die. Anna was INNOCENT, she WASN'T a whore or anything of the sort; she came home to reunite with her high school friends. This psycho murdered her, because HE was jealous that she MAY have been seeing another young man and that's her right. I'm so extremely sick and tired of people, like you, saying derogatory crap about someone that they BARELY knew, it goes to show that some people are small-minded and shallow.

People say stupid shit they don’t mean all the time. Over text, it’s especially hard to tell if someone’s serious or not without tone of voice or body language. Even if someone IS serious in the moment and says some especially fucked up shit, it’s impossible to tell wether or not they will act on those words in the future. So if you end up calling the police on your friend and they weren’t planning on murdering people, it’s totally possible for that accusation to land them in hot water even though they’re innocent. What if the cops search their house and find a little bit of weed? What if the police end up shooting your friend for no reason like they did to daniel shaver? Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that calling the police was the wrong thing to do, but what I am saying is that it is totally understandable why they didn’t. Hindsight is always 20/20.
