I'm a former high school teacher, I was asked by a student, who was 18 years old and I was 19, to go on a date. I let him know I do NOT date students....END OF STORY! It's that SIMPLE..JUST SAY, "NO" even if the student is of age. There are many other humans to date. This story is sickening!

Right even if u think he's cute as a person or student AND UR BOTH OF AGE if ur not of age u shouldn't be sexually attracted to him because you should never get close enough with a child for that to happen one and how could u be attracted to a child. I'm 29 I had a 20 yr old try talking to me I turned him down because his mannerism and everything were so child like and at the end of the day that's a baby. That could get them most to all of the way to an AA degree (as it did me). Graduating at a 17yo senior then gives you a little more of an age head start. I'm betting it was a similar situation and they were either student teaching or got their certification already.

I graduated at 17 in 1987. I already had a year of college behind me. I easily could have been a teacher at 19 or 20 if I had went to college after highschool and was in an accelerated program

The kid's 18 now, he's no longer under his parents' guardianship so there's no letting or not letting him see someone for his parents. That said, she's awful for preying on a minor she's in authority over and he's awful for spreading her images around, and that latter part should, at the very latest, have been her wake up call that there's an unhealthy maturity gradient in the relationship.

How can a 15 year-old boy be mature enough to mutilate his body and change sex but not old enough to go after a woman 8 years older but still a young woman? Had he posted the naked pictures of a younger woman he would also be facing charges. I don’t think that young boy is so innocent. Uhmmm.... there is a reason we have laws in place to protect minors from making stupid decisions and being taken advantage of by predators. Children's brains aren't fully developed. They make stupid decisions and lack the understanding of consequences. Do you really think an adult woman making the choice to be in a quid pro quo relationship with an older man is worse than an adult grooming a minor and SAing a minor? 7 years is worlds apart when it comes to minors. Let's do some math; a 1 year old and an 8 year old, a 3 year old and a 10 year old, a 5 year old and a 12 year old, an 8 year old and a 15 year old, a 10 year old and a 17 year old, a 14 year old and a 21 year old. Are you getting it? Just because 7 years is a smaller window than 40 doesn't mean its acceptable.
