That's what he looked like in early 1971 when I met him. That's Billy Swan on bass and the great famous sideman and producer Donnie Fritz on keyboards. I am struck down hard at his passing this weekend, and I'll never forget how brilliant he was, and how kind he was to me when I was just a student wanna-be journalist.

Just had a son brought into this world on the 26th we named him Waylon , he’s my idol I sing every single song have every album hoss , my newborn even has a Waylon Jennings Onesie , if I ever get the chance I wanna visit Waylon’s resting spot one day
