Chorus:
Loving her was easier than anything I'll ever do again
Waking in the morning to the feeling of her fingers on my skin
Wiping out the traces of the people and the places that I"ve been
Teaching me that yesterday was something that I never thought of trying
Talking of tomorrow and the money, love and time we had to spend

The life of Kris is an example to everyone to follow your follow your dreams, to turn your back on a successful army career, give it all up to work as a janitor to try and meet Johnny Cash and hopefully get him to sing his songs. His music has been part of my life since 1970 and I feel blessed to have heard it.

Well like this we surely will, because their voices in this altered reuploaded version have been tempered with. Unfortunately because of reuploaded autotuned and pitch corrected old live performances like this by the anti-human record companies, their real live performances and how they really sounded live will soon be forgotten as all original material is being replaced as we speak. This is unfortunately an altered dehumanized version.

I was in my early-mid 20's in the early 90's going to Vegas, the river, Palm Springs, etc with a big great group of friends, and not much of a care in the world. Listening to Willie on the Colorado River early am, or at dusk, with the beautiful red rock formations and glass water is an experience in itself that almost seems religious. I know you shouldn't think too much on the past, but (IMO) something is F ing missing in society today, and I believe it's because with todays technology, people are not as reliant on other people and we seem to be forgetting that strong friendships/bonds with one another is a much more important thing, in terms of a persons well being than anything material, or having a large # of followers on your channel!

Every Sunday in my house in the UK was Country day. My mum and Dad loved it. My brother, sister and I groaned. My dad would say...’just listen’... It’s stuck, and they are some of the most beautiful memories I have. Haggard, Nelson, Glaser brothers, George Jones, Hank Williams... All music has something for someone...it’s just that Country music has a little something extra for me. Probably because of those lovely childhood memories.
