Thanks for getting this back on KZbin. Christine Tudor is superb - one of the best soap performances. And this is also Amelia Heinle's best soap work. I have so many of these scenes memorized in my head. Looking back this probably should have been the full episode with no other scenes thrown in from other stories.

This episode was so fucking hard to watch. I didn't start watching Loving until a few years before it ended but I watched long enough to care about the characters on this show and saw them picked off one by one by one. Even now I am angry about how this show was canceled but this storyline was amazing and this plot twist took me by surprise despite having spent the 10 years before that watching other soaps with my grandmother. Now that I think about it the murders of beloved characters on Loving sort of mirror the death of soap operas as a genre. Loving, Generations, Port Charles, Passion, Sunset Beach and barely a decade later we saw AMC and One Life to Live and As the World Turns and Guiding Light end up canceled too. As I mentioned I grew up watching many of hhese shows with my grandmother but had no idea my mother had watched them too. I didn't really talk to my mom about soaps until the whole Carly Manning buried alive storyline on Days of Our Loves got me so interested that I ended up talking to my mom about it and found out she used to watch soaps as well. She started asking about her favorite characters that she had watched decades before who were still on the show and how their kids were doing and ended up watching Days of Our Lives with me for a few months It was mindblowing to me that the characters I had come to love my mom had loved too which is the heart of why I love soaps. Even as a 15 year old I was able to understand and be awed by the fact that stories told decades ago linked 3 generations of my family. Sorry for rambling.

I used the soaps history for the murders .....l do still miss Cornith, Pennsylvania. As well as, Pine Valley, Llanview. Thank you for the upload one of the most disgusting out of character things done on daytime soap history. But I have to agree Christine Tudor acting her butt off. Personally I think it was calculated to kill loving off as, originally it was just going to get canceled and personally I think ABC wanted to kill it because of royalties to Doug Marlands estate. So here are some facts Doug Marland Co created loving with agnes Nixon it was not agnes alone so ABC viewers stop with it was agnes alone. But after Doug Marland got crossed by ABC and left his name was removed from having Co created the, show. And I suspect ABC was trying to cheat him out of paying royalties for the use of the characters he created. Which were Gwen alden Trisha Curtis. But under Douglas clay alden was mentioned but considered dead Cabot Isabella Stacy Shayna. And if you watch all the living murders how the show killed off every Doug Marland crwRsd charecter with the exception of ava, rescott. Who got carried over to the city Now Jane Elliot did try and save it and I think she convinced abc to try the city concept as a spin off as she, was one of Doug Marlands friends. And notice how on the city she got another one of Douglas Marlands charecters from general hospital over to the city Tracy quartermaine. So my point is that Jane Eliot tried to help. Millie Taggart worked her butt off to as headwriter to bring back loving to how it looked under Doug Marlajd it's just ashame abc was hellbent on trying everything it could to stop that it sucks.
