I think love and passion dies because of criticism and hurtful words we say and lose interest in each other . Thank you

So inspiring. My husband is not a believer, we're coming up on 50 years soon and I'm fighting loneliness in our home. God has already been working on me in this direction and these tools will help. 😊

This was a great discussion. These principles are far bigger than just a mariage. But can be applied in other areas in your life.

Thank you so much for this. My husband and I are of completely different cultures and languages and I have CPTSD and basically all of our fights are because of triggers. It's so helpful to hear this and know that it isn't just because I am messed up. Please pray for healing for us. I have sent a prayer request directly.

I can and have talked like this, however I have never heard any men communicate like this nor seem like they want to learn interpersonal, intimate communication of this tone/language.

You can’t influence or change a partner from thinking they have you figured out after a few months of knowing you and then bored with you immediately before and after marriage. People just do not care about the long form aspect of relationships, only instant gratification, novelty and using others for their own satisfaction (a dead end that will leave them discontent). All this counseling stuff might work for two people trying to fix something they agree is broken. It does not work when one person does not see behavior as a problem or they do not want to fix the marriage.

I never hit my spouse, yet people treat me like I was violent which is a lie. Consider the source and look up to our Heavenly Father before anyone becomes bias. There is his story, her story, and His story. God sees all and He knows the TRUTH.

The Bible doesn't describe love as a feeling. The Bible and G-d the father and Son COMMANDS us to love. In today's society its all about feelings. Our feelings can deceived us. Blessings

They help you reflect on your own downfalls and how you can change for the benefit of your marriage without always pointing fingers.

The thousands of videos on how to “improve” your marriage but very little on determining if marriage is right for a person to begin with. ISTM, it’s all about getting people hooked up then “fixing” the problems later.
