Their song Wind Of Change, really talks about the challenges men go through. That's one thing I love so much about these guys is they say what so many men wish they could say but feel they can't or they can't find the right words. Thanks for being one of the reactors that say they love the BeeGees and actually react to them often instead of every month or two or longer. You really have to react often or you're going to miss out on songs that are every bit as great as the ones already heard. They change it up also and it's never boring and they never miss. Even their interviews are great because they are so funny. If music hadn't worked they could have been comedians.

This was a big country hit for Conway Twitty. Andy Gibb and Olivia Newton John did a duet with this song also. I believe they sang it live on the show Solid Gold.

Yes, it was the B-side to TOO MUCH HEAVEN and a beautiful duet with ONJ & Andy (written by big bro Barry) & then also performed on Solid Gold!🥰

Those in the studio when Barry write this said the music was recorded first, then Barry just “got up and wrote the lyrics on the mic.” (Wrote them as he sang, just as they are.) Thanks for reacting to it!

Yes we love our Bee Gees we need to hear their wisdom of life and love and compassion. I love this song so much. George Strait also recorded this song. It was a huge hit for George and it's the version I always heard. You should check it out it gives a different feel but just as good.

You can do both with same video. Bee Gees have 3 funniest moments videos and have some humor in their 1989 Medley in Melbourne and their 1974 Medley in Melbourne. Enjoying your reactions and motivation. Thank you and your family for your service ❤❤❤

Please react to their baby brother, Andy Gibb, and Olivia Newton-Johns duet of REST YOUR LOVE. There is a studio recording and 2 great live performances of it, including one on Solid Gold.

Traditional Country is not my favorite genre but an amazing country song featuring and written by Maurice Gibb is Railroad. Very moving. And next would be Country Lanes by all the BeeGees. For getting back to what the BeeGees are known for, please react to "Alone", "Love You Inside Out", "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" & "and"Run to Me". ❤❤❤

Barry and Maurice were into C/W. Robin preferred pop and ballads.

They were more into country than Robin, but the other certainly isn't true.

@@kthor - Can I ever say anything that you won't contradict? You search me out just to argue. That's obvious no matter how benign my comment. I've bypassed a lot of your comments with which I disagree but don't respond. Robin's LP's in the 80's were certainly more pop than what Barry was doing and he always liked ballads as they suited his voice.

@@kthorhow isn't it true? Robin wasn't much into c&w so that means he preferred pop music. Honestly you just can't seem to pass up anyone bringing up Robin and having to throw something negative out.🙄

To clarify my point.....yes, Robin wasn't fond of country, but ALL 3 usually preferred pop & ballads. Also, Robin's LPs in the 80's were ALL written with Mo's help & 1/3 by Barry, so guess Barry was doing more pop then, wasn't he?? I'm also entitled to respond when your original comment wasn't clear. Please just stop arguing when my point wasn't meant to be negative. Btw, why are you watching videos with Barry's music, when you've said you prefer not to??

@@kthor - You enjoy trying to make it look as if others need your "scholarly" clarification. We don't. I was unaware that clarification of my original comment was required. Thank you so much. ❤ YOU say they ALL preferred pop and ballads. Really? You have no more verification of that comment than I do of mine. You say my remark is not "necessarily true" BUT in fact I DO have verification since Robin and Mo both said in interviews that he was not a big C/W fan, preferring ballads. He also liked to keep current with POPular trends. Their own words. Guess we can't ask them posthumously can we? Did I say in my comment that Robin's LP's were not co-written? No. What does that have to do with my original comment? Nothing. That response WAS NEGATIVE and directed against Robin as your comments always are and totally irrelevant to my comment. Just another of your passive aggressive barbs. That is your pattern of behaviour. You think you are being clever and subtle but are as transparent as cellophane with your insults. You certainly DO cruise comments to insult anyone who likes Robin. Good for you. Bless your heart. Everyone needs a hobby. Merry Christmas.

It was written in 1976 during Children of the World sessions, but not included on the album because too Country. When they donated the proceeds of Too Much Heaven to UNICEF, REST YOUR LOVE was chosen as the B-side, but again not included on the Spirits Having Flown Album. It became the Bee Gees’ only Country top 40 song, reaching only #39. Conway Twitty then picked it up and had a #1 hit with it in 1981…. All while they were being labeled as a Disco group.

So many great songs that were written & sung by just Barry, that he could've easily released a solo album of them. But instead, he chose to release them under the Bee Gees name, so they'd all receive royalties for them.☺️
