Hello again Fran/Rich ☺. Just how me and my late husband liked it, peaceful and quiet. A camper van was on our wish list but not to be, sadly. Enjoy. Just a thought, mentioned by another KZbinr - My Life in a Teacup. There's an app called BritStop. Were you can camp in your van for free in garden centres, heritage sites, pubs etc. As long as you patronise them by buying a coffee/pint or similar to support them. Might be worth investigating in case you're stuck sometime. Also be aware of sheep ticks on those overgrown foot path! Check the doggies and wear long trousers. But you probs know that already. Hope you've both got your bus passes too, would help with your travelling to pick up Percy. Sending love & light 🍂🍁🍂🍁 xx

You keep me wanting more, very nice. Now that you Fran and Rich have conquered the beautiful canals of England and will soon conquer the beautiful countryside that only England has to offer with Percy. Different and delightful episode! Beautiful locales, interesting musical interludes, and fun, engaging storytelling … as usual. Your experiences in this episode are difficult to obtain in 🇺🇸. You enjoy right-of-way footpaths across farm fields,, private gardens, and alongside waterways. In America, so many fences … just barbed wire and no gates or ladders. No Trespassing signs about. Even access to waterways can be closed off for “safety” reasons. The park up style camp areas are largely absent from the USA. With the great weather you enjoyed on this trip, I was quite envious. Cheers!

Thank you so much. We do appreciate our land access but we are in a constant battle here as land owners try to restrict it or block up paths. We have to keep using it to access it.

Hi Fran and Rich. I imagine seeing Wales in a camper van is an ideal way of seeing part of the British Isles we don't know too much about. Something the Welsh people keep to themselves. Fortunately, there are people like you who can unravel their mysteries. But please be careful parking up. You don't want to be part of a dogging site, or do you. HaHa. Stay well xx
