I fostered for 9 years! It is def a journey but I loved every one of my babies! Thank God my babies had parents that did what they needed to get them back! I can see you being a foster family! You will be a great Foster mom!

You are so nice to have gotten all these gifts for your friends whose husbands are deployed. And their families. That’s not something everyone would do. We did something like that years ago. My sister had some neighbors who were out of work. And they didn’t have money to get their kids Christmas gifts. So I went to a store near us, and bought presents for their kids. The next night I think we took them to my sisters. And she gave them to the parents. They were so happy. And I’m sure their kids were too. Just to get Christmas gifts. So that was our good deed. For that Christmas. And it felt good to do something for someone else’s children. I think they had two kids. It’s been so long ago I don’t remember. But we just knew that those kids would get gifts for Christmas.

Smart of you to enroll her in a multi-grade sport...so she had people to relate to on the first day of school. She is doing well because she has great parents (and little sister). Merry Christmas, Megan! This was a fun video for me. I love watching people who really enjoy Christmas. It’s never been a good time for me. I have also enjoyed watching you mature into your style.
