There is a vacuum hose connected at the back of the supercharger and goes almost straight down to the lower intake plenum/oil separator, i think it’s around 3/8 size hose. The hose will sometimes develop a cut/leak by coming into contact with sharp metal flashing on the back of the intake manifold, which is about 4-5 inches from the top of the hose. The vacuum hose sometimes is cut into during clutch replacements if the technician tilts the engine back towards the firewall resulting in the vacuum hose getting pinched between the sharp edged intake manifold and the firewall.

Thanks for the tip! I actually resolved the issue in another video. The air filter was saturated with oil. Once cleaned and oiled properly, boost picked up to where it should be.

Do you possibly know what that tube is called? I think that’s what my issue is. Recently did a clutch and header install.

@@stevenochoa5485 Sorry I took a while to get back to you, the Ford parts website refer to it as a oil separator connector and the part number they have listed for it is 6C324 however using the name and part number still wouldn’t bring up the part on the website. I had a search for “PCV” and then click on the link for the PCV tube that connects the passenger side valve cover to the supercharger, then click on the “related parts” menu and fortunately the oil separator connector will appear in that menu for related parts. It’s around $48-$53 for the vacuum line, it’s likely that most dealers will have to special order it. It’s nothing special, the only unique characteristic it has is that it’s got a slight curved shape to prevent it from contacting the upper manifold so you could buy yourself some vacuum hose from autozone so long as the hose get is non-collapsible when under a vacuum. You'd probably want to protect the new line with a zip tied piece of rubber cut from an old radiator hose.
