i use a couple of fish tank heaters, the big ones and I also use a fish tank agitator. to clean the mess after dipping i use a wet/dry garage vacum. i also use a large plastic feed tank from tractor supply

12 people want tp sell 6k stainless tanks. LOVE the tank simple and works what else would you need? nothing!
@richb74148 жыл бұрын
Stainless is cold to the touch not because it is actually cold, but because the heat transfer from your hand to the metal is faster than your body can produce heat. It is same exact temp as fiberglass is even though fiberglass doesn't feel cold at room temp.

Nice! Perfect for a smaller space, smaller budget, and requiring a smaller effort. What was the fiberglass tank used for originally...knowing that would provide a clue as to where to look for something like it. Please advise. Anxious to see your activator video too. :-)
@KeeWeeKustoms10 жыл бұрын
Hi Jeff, thanks for your kind words. I have actually perfected this design now (see my other video). The tank originally came out of a Firetruck. I have a friend who manufactures them for the fire dept, so it was originally used to hold water. I have also posted my activator video now :)

Yeah nice. You should buy some insulation at the hardware store and wrap it. It'll stay warmer much longer.
@Pyper709 жыл бұрын
Right on with the MacGyver innovation. I am reading that the water should be 70ºF (21ºC) though. Does 30ºC indeed work best for you? I want to make myself a tub as well and was looking at heating elements but after your video, I may just run a small water heater that regulated with a Ball Valve

when doing Motorcycle wheels( need consistent pattern) I assume you back mask one side then dip. then rinse ,then dry ,remask freshly dipped side , and dip remaing side. However does masking freshly dipped side of a motorcycle wheel pull off ink or is it durable enough to accept masking tape?

Jason Rene I would also love to know the answer to that if someone could reply! Thanks
