Lost all my saved recipes and I know yours was several of them and I love this one. I am re-starting low carb and I needed this I am sorry to see you have not made any videos as of late I wish you would come back and make more you are such a great instructor

Since I do not have a microwave, I appreciate you cooking without. I have seen the dough made before, but using microwave. Never thought to use double boiler! Thanks once again.

The double boiler takes a little work but I think it is worth it. I don't own a microwave anymore either.

Thank you for this video/recipe! I made Fat Head Dough once, and it was a disaster LOL Swore that I'd never attempt it again. Then I watched your video:) Now I realize the mistake I made in my first attempt. I didn't mix the dough beyond the "stringy" stage to the smooth stage. I'm going to try this recipe. It looks delicious! Dot, thank you so much for this video.

Dot, thank you so very much for this wonderful recipe. Especially the creative crust. I'm excited to try to make this recipe. What a nice colder weather recipe to warm the soul. I've made pot pies before and instead of traditional carrots, celery and onions. I tried broccoli , cauliflower and yellow squash for the veggies. I used a bag of frozen california medley mix and canned chicken instead. I did that method because I was trying to make it more simplier to put together. But I definitely love your method and ingredients. God bless you and your family. I hope your doing well. Love Tamson.💕💕

You're absolutely right I tried making pizza crust out of the dough and it was crumbly they seem pretty good but Fathead cheese pizza crust is much better thank you for your quick reply I learned a lot from you God bless

I will make this with left-over rotisserie chicken and save some prep time. I also will cut a slit or two in the dough before baking. 🥧😋

Pot pie was one of the first food I tried when I came from my home country back in 1980 and I always like it but now been 56 I have to take care of my health, so this is a perfect recipe for me, I have a question for you were can I get this Gur gum?. I’m looking forward to making a pot pie this weekend but I’ll use the chicken pizza crust for my crust recipe instead of the fathead dough. Lower carbs that way and delicious!

I made this last night and turned out absolutely perfect I had roasted chicken in my new ninja foodie and we really don't care for the white meat so I chopped it all up and I use that in the chicken pot pie my crush turned out absolutely golden Beautiful Brown thank you you're my idol

Hello Dot! Haven't commented in a while. Once again something wonderful. Going to also try it with beef. Beef pot pies used to be my favorite when I was growing up. You know, you could really have people over with a dish like this. Maybe even make individual ones for guests! Thank you Dot!

Hi Dot. Question Can I roll on wax paper I know not to bake with wax paper but Parchment paper is Expensive here so only want to bake with it not roll. Btw I Love Your Recipes .Awesome.Thank you..

Just wondered what is the percentage of fat in heavy cream 18%? I believe whipping cream is 35% The only addition I would add is a tsp or two of poultry seasoning, thanks for the recipe!

Looks delicious Dot! Is Guar Gum a better choice over Xanthan Gum for low carb as general a rule of thumb?

I can't think of any good reason to use one over the other, except maybe that you'd use less Xanthan than Guar Gum (quantity consideration, basically).

Because we're using raw eggs, let me just say that I PERSONALLY use this a day or 2 after with no problem, but that YOU should use your best judgement. What a cop-out, I know, lol, but I'm trying to protect both of us here :)

I was wondering if you've ever made a pizza and if your recipes different than all the others online I was thinking about using this crust for the pizza crust cuz it looks good and taste good

The problem with it, as is, for a pizza crust is that it's a bit crumbly. I haven't yet tried to make a non-crumbly crust. The closest I've seen, which is awesome, is that new "cauliflower crust" at Uno's pizza. It's amazing ... and it's 50 carbs a serving. I'd like to see if I could maybe lower that a bit, but I need the time...

My husband said he put it in the microwave for about 5 minutes because it just came out of the refrigerator so you're probably right about the doughy flavor

You could try hazelnut, same principles with adding dough until it's not sticky. I've seen people use coconut flour (search "ketoconnect" and "fathead" on youtube).

Other than personal tastes, not sure. How did you re-heat it? We don't have a microwave at our house, so we use the oven. But if you use a microwave, it might make the crust more doughy. And perhaps that adds to the enjoyment?

I haven't tried freezing it but it should be just fine. I agree with the individual serving approach to freezing. That way you take what you actually need.

I'd totally invite you over! Double Boiler: so un-intimidating once you've used it. One pot sits snugly on another pot, and it slowly warms up. You could practice on something inconsequential until you felt happy about it. Or microwave, like Bald Eagle does :)

A food processor works faster and easier than a double boiler. Add everything in and give it a few pulses.
