I don’t think Bill gets enough credit. The guy is literally THE reason for some of the successful hunting KZbin channels today. He built that model, shared his knowledge and expertise with them and now they are what they are today. Without Bill, I don’t think it happens. I think Bills most recent journey is also strong evidence that just because you kill big deer, doesn’t mean you are a good hunter; it could be the property. And, the flip side to that coin is, just because you aren’t killing big deer, doesn’t mean you are a bad hunter; it could just be the property. In his case now, I think he’s a great hunter and in a tough area. Loved this one and s/o to Bill for always being so humble and kind.

the average deer hunter does not shoot a 130-inch buck, but a 130-inch buck is still considered a good buck in most parts of the country..I love bill but to say a deer hunter would ever tell a man 150 plus buck is a trash deer.. disappointed me . Then again I guess these guys rub off on him when he gets around them . I remember him saying when he was still part of Midwest whitetail that he mainly shot deer for age..bc of a lot his guys were not shooting anything over 160..season one he shot a 140” episode 20..so this just come off brash to me . I love Bill enough to overlook it . 👍🏻

@ May be wrong, but he was referencing southern Iowa & stated those high standards are much different elsewhere.

Be careful with knocking down or mowing standing corn in Illinois, I don’t know if that’s considered a standard agricultural practice.
@79TEOG21 күн бұрын
Prime example how easy hunting was for him on his other farms. Iowa is easy hunting compared to other places. This is iowa but its not as good of a farm so he struggles to kill like he was on his better farms
