Low Hanging Fruit - Persimmon 🍊 Tree 😲

One of the best desserts I ever had was made with persimmons. I wish I had the recipe, but it was probably more about the very old tree in that yard that had produced the fruit.

It is interesting that your persimmon trees have such a different appearance than the ones we have in Northern MO. Ours have a single trunk and do not hang low like that. Your variety ripens earlier too. Ours require a heavy frost or freeze before they lose their astringent.
