Great video, I love the realistic homes you create. I just started a rags to riches run on this lot. Starting with a camper and working up to a giant mansion 😂

Thank you so much! Yea this is a great spot to start a rags to riches! I never make it to the actual riches part when I play that, I just play rags lmao 😂

This is exactly the kind of housing Del sol valley needs. Honestly, 4rent really saved the usability of that neighborhood in my opinion because the huge lots in the low end neighborhood hood make no sense without the option to subdivide or make rental housing. Beautiful build!

You got the feel down right. I grew up in Santa Monica and the plants and architecture is so spot on. You see this style houses there and all parts of Los Angles, Culver City, Venice etc. in all neighborhoods from high to low econonmic. Minus the trash and rubbish, many of these house easily go for a million or more, in my old stomping ground.

I love this! You're so talented! Even though its LA, it really reminded me of the houses we used to have here in Brazil. Makes me think of my grandmas house❤

Thank you!! The blue house was inspired by a different creators build, but it looks so brazilian to me too! (My grandma also lives in a similar house in juiz de fora 🤭)

What town is this? And I'm just curious about why your build/buy is desaturated? Its honestly easier for my audhd brain to navigate lol less bright distracting colors. This is why I set everything to dark mode on every app and site I can! Also adore your builds. I just found you today amd can't get enough! I love love love building little cluttered places like trailer parks and LIH. So tiiiiired of the perfect mansion builds. This bitch grew up in a dingy appartment with my single mom and little sister and I honestly miss it. I love the country and fancy places and all but I feel most at home in a little cozy hole in the wall with loud neighbors on either side and cars busting in the street. Its a comforting reminder that society hasn't col!apsed yet and I'm not the last person on earth lol. I'm also nosy and love to people watch, got that from my mom. Every time I watch one of your LIH builds I think "they forgot to put in a giant-ass, loud-ass plastic clock from the dollar store!!" because my family literally has a special enormous plastic clock that lets you listen to your life tick away when you're alone with it. It was my mom's and followed us everywhere we went through my childhood. We were always moving and things always changing but that big clunky clock of mortality-remeberance followed us all through. I took it with with me in my divorce lol that dumb cheapo clock is that precious to me. But now I'm just rambling! About a clock of all things!
@wolfxdreamer68602 ай бұрын
Haha I love the clock story tbh, so wholesome! I totally feel you, I don’t think I could even imagine myself living any type of ritzy life lol leave me here where it’s comfy and full of life and love! Also, thank you! So much 🫶🏻 I use a UI mod (linked in description) to make my Ui dark. I also need everything to be dark mode lol can’t stand the bright sterile blue of vanilla. And this is the get famous world. Del sol valley ( I had to look it up cause I forgot what it was called lmao)

@wolfxdreamer6860 Tbh I have a hard time designing mansions and such cuz I'm like . . . how do you even fill this many rooms? And with what?! I'm used to cramped (read as cozy) little hovels with limited, practical rooms. I usually make mansion shells into hotels cuz like I can just fill it with a ton of teeny fancy apartments. And its fun to add a little itsy bit of personality in the form of clutter to indicate what kind of person is staying in each room (like a businessman, a family on vacation, a woman escaping DV, a bachelor/bachelorette party, a homeless man ect.) It would be cool to see you give that kind of build a try someday but no pressure obvs lol. I never post my builds anywhere because I have a butt ton of CC and inevitably people would ask what all the CC I used is and there's so much I would never be able to name it all. I hoard CC like a doomsday prepper hoards cans. I can never have too much. Unless my game someday just crashes lol. I have a special PC built just for the Sims and an external hard drive I put all my CC in. I use a symbolic link in the mods folder installed on my main hard drive so it will automatically pull CC from the external hard drive mods folder. That way my main hard drive gets to keep its memory and not be painfully slow even with the Sims running. Though the Sims itself will run slower like have hiccups opening build and buy, and a tiny spatter of lag once in a while, and it takes 10 hours to actually start (I let it do that overnight while I sleep), but otherwise it works fine! Honestly, reading that back, it sounds similar to me describing a fridge that sometimes leaks and occasionally flickers power but still keeps the food cold enough to not spoil lol. And I've over shared again I notice but whatever! Its the ADHD and 'tism. Obviously Sims is a special interest for me. And who knkws, maybe someone reading this might benefit from the symbolic link thing. Idk! Bitch be yapping and I'm only 2/4ths sorry. Saucy finger snap in Z formation.
