King, you're wrong about Geppou. It doesn't increase your speed, it just allows you to jump in the air. The super fast z-fighting technique they have is a combination of Geppou and Soru called Kamisori. Regardless of that, Stussy was focused on keeping herself hidden at the time, and her jumping around the air even in the midst of that battle would be pretty conspicuous.

I think a manga theory of, if a tower of that size made of sponge cake and whipped cream fell on you, how much damage could it cause, would be interesting. It doesn't matter what type of manga you're making, having a character, having emotion, and having dimensions is more important than just being a stereotypical main character with cool jazzy flame moves. I'm glad that the year of Sanji wasn't just gonna involve Sanji getting a new diable Jambe style move. Just because Oda titled the year "the year of Sanji" didn't instantly mean he was gonna shine in a positive way and look badass. The year of Sanji simply meant the year would focus on him, which it fucking did. Big surprise, right? I'm not saying Sanji shouldn't get power ups and new moves, of course he should, but it grinds my gears when people complain about Sanji saying dumb shit like "OH, ME SMART, ME THINKS SANJI SHOULD HAVE BIG EXPLODO POWER BECAUSE ME REMEMBER ODA SAID HE GET BIG POWER YEEEE". No. Sanji can get a power up later. He doesn't necessarily need one right now, his main goal was to escape wci not fight a fucking yonko commander (which would end up making him look worse). So in conclusion: Yes this was the year of Sanji. Yes, he did shine. He doesn't need a power up now, that'd be retarded and unnatural. He shined by showing he has more of a character than it seemed before. Stop complaining about the lack of power ups and explosions from him, Oda never promised that. He promised an arc that had him as a main focus. We got to see his childhood, we learned about his family, we learned about what made him special, we got to see a moment with him and Luffy (twice!). We got to see Sanji struggle, we got to see Sanji cry (btw he usually doesn't cry. he had a calm badass vibe from him pre timeskip, and he only cried when he got pervy. The only other real time he cried was when he left Zeff, and he cried now because he was afraid of losing Zeff and his crew, which is understandable. He's a fucking human. I don't see why people would complain about tha- oh wait I forgot. this is the one piece community, and to be a good character you have to have badass powers and mad hype. My bad.) I'm rambling on too much now so I'll end the comment here.

Jairo Is a name You are right with everything you said and I completly agree , but not everyone sees sanji character the way you do and that's the problem. only because he didn't have awesome clashs like zoro means for the haters he is a bad character, which leads to this whole Lanji shit. Sanji is one of the most developed characters in the series, but it is true that he didn't show much from a fighting standpoint and that's sad, because we know that he is a beast. Oda didn't gave him his opportunity to proof that. I'm not saying that he should solo Kata, but a clash with daifuku or streusen would finally shut the haters mouth.
