between 125,000 and 175,000 kms is the worst mileage to buy a used car high enough to have some major maintenance work done low enough that the owner still feels its too early.

Not driving a car is so dumb. As long as there is no salt on the ground and its not raining too hard i drive my corvette all spring summer and fall. Only time my truck gets used in those seasons is if i have more than 1 other person with me or i need my trailer

Imagine finally being with a girl of your dreams, but keeping her locked up while you go out on dates, making memories, and having sex with a beater, only to save the girl of your dreams for the next guy...

I can speak from experience that old tires equals hard tires and I've lost two vehicles due to running old tires. Sadly, the second vehicle was my 2003 Tacoma that was a fantastic little truck. It was totalled in 2014.

260k on my sw20 and no issues. Daily it but still wish I could drive it more. Disappointing when people buy cars that aren't exotics and don't drive them

Nice Video!, Very wise words, The same goes for motorcycles, the amount of bike that sit for a long time in peoples garages is terrible, and they wonder why they have problems. Boys Toys are meant to be used, end of story!

I had a low mileage car as my first one a 1993 miata 7 years ago and it had so much issues to daily drive. It was rust free too.

Love the content! How about a video on what to do if you DO drive your nicer car in the winter? Worthwhile preparation's, etc. I'm from Nova Scotia and imported a mint 2003 Toyota Crown Estate Athlete V last year, and with my current life situations I did winter drive it last year and plan to again this year.

From personal experience I can drive one of my cars with no issues for months, but if I let it sit for a while shit starts messing up and nature begins to reclaim it. Plus driving them allows you to find and fix small issues before they become a real problem.

Great point

@@CanadianGearhead I know you covered these points in your video. But I posted the comment before watching it. Thanks for discussing the subject. It's definitely something that needs to be talked about.

Good Lord, your MR2 is insanely beautiful. I easily think the MR2 is a better looking car than the SUPRA Mazda RX-7 and Honda NSX.

I don't feel so bad now with my 1998 Volvo v70 t5 and she's got 341,000 miles or well over half a million maple syrups in your measurement system. My kei project car is a different story and explains why it's blew a head gasket this year. She's from 1996 and has a little under 100,000 miles on her.

I have Subaru Impreza STI ver.2 1995 gc8, it has like 270tkm and i hear all the time how much its been driven but its not even 10tkm in year and i maintain it all the time, i fix even small things before they becomes a major issue, so i bet its way better than these low mileage subies 😂
