There are so many top tier keyboard review channels (e.g. BadSeedTech, TooMuchTech, TheTechne and Brandon Taylor), that I will focus my reviews mostly on Gaming. What did you think about this video?

Usually your videos are more thorough than those 4 other youtubers and answer most of the questions that I have in mind. I also enjoy watching Fresh Reviews' and boardzy's content. You're my go-to reviewer when it comes to decide if I want to purchase a certain product or not along with these 2 other youtubers mentioned before. It goes to show that because someone isn't in the 100k subs realm doesn't mean that he isn't worth watching.

@StarcraftSwarm2 жыл бұрын
That's been my exact experience, I upgraded from laptop to pc and I've tried like 3 mech keyboards in the past 2 years switching them constantly and I feel like I can't click some buttons fast enough in mobas because of the travel time on traditional mechs, no matter what switches. Never had that issue when I was gaming on my laptop.
@NickSharpx3 жыл бұрын
Great review, was curious to hear more about these low profile mech's, they're super appealing to me
@peace_truth14713 жыл бұрын
You've nailed it my friend. Great review! I've always felt the movement - strafing - in CSGO so hard, and the explanation is definitely the "Dead zone". I just think that I would still prefer the Apex Pro TKL with O-rings for the fastest and lowest "dead zone" possible. On one hand you hold your mouse that has switches that are way shorter and faster to actuate, while on the other hand, you have a switch that can go as deep as 4 mm -.- Just found out that the Keychron K3 has an impressive "Dead Zone" of 1.4mm! It looks awesome :)

Tried almost all "Gaming Keyboards" but at the end it was a Varmilo TKL in the Moonlight version. Build quality is superb, nice PBT keycaps and no rattle on the spacebar.
@LFKY133 жыл бұрын
This keyboard has been my main for a few months now and I'm in love with it still. My space bar hasn't gotten any rattle after months of use maybe it's because my stabilizers came a bit more lubed from the factory? I don't know. Also it seems the US version layout is a bit different than yours because my enter key is much thinner and after the L key I have ; and ' instead of the Æ and Ø.
@hausgaming3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I've got the ISO Nordic layout!
@manslaughter97463 жыл бұрын
Ok random question, do you use that left shift often in games and if so do you ever have issues finding it? I bought an apex pro tkl w/ an ISO layout by accident and I just can’t get past how small that left shift key is (usually assigned to sprinting.) Should I stick with it? Love your vids bud!
@hausgaming3 жыл бұрын
Hi, yeah I do! But I'm used to it as I live in a country where ISO layout is kind of the default

low profile is good for MMO gaming as well.. was playing on a "laptop" keyboard and its very easy to move your thumb from for example N to V and activate many things at the same time.. thats pretty hard to do with high profile keycaps. Dont like typing on a low profile keyboard though.. currently on a ducky TKL with box red 3.6mm full travel and 1.8 actuation. Its best allrounder so far. But i can totally see this fnatic be better gaming keyboard though. edit: for fps gaming.. for mmo 1mm actuation sounds like problem with light switch ;D

The concept of input accuracy is new to me. I am concidering bying a Dygma Raise with Kailh Silent Pink switches. Would you say those might be problematic in that regard since they have only 35g to accentuate and 45g to bottom out? Btw I'd like to see a review of the Dygma Raise :D

Hard to say tbh, it depends on the travel distance and the actuation point of th switch.

What you said about releasing the switch to use another sooner is true but in CSGO you can use a null movement script which overrides the movement key in the opposite direction.

I don't use any scripts myself, it's a very thin line of using them being cheating

It sounds like the reviewer needs to try tactiles with bumps at the actuation point. Professional typists suffer from the same thing as games when it comes to actuation points and dead zones. Get some heavy spring (67g) tactiles like boba's and you'll be happy knowing exactly where to spam.

The reviewer knows that most keyboards meant for "professional typing" suffer from quite a bit of latency and are not that well suited for gaming :)
