Thank you for watching! Quick thing, I feel like this video isn't as good as I want it to be. I feel like that about a lot of videos. But this one in particular doesn't feel right, but I didn't just want to throw the whole video away as some or most might enjoy it. Please feel free to let me know what I should add or improve on when doing future keyboard reviews as I'm still a noob when it comes to reviewing keyboards.
@GoblinboyXL4 жыл бұрын
For someone relatively new to KB reviews, it seems quite good, so you may be beating yourself up unnecessarily. Not worth re-exporting it for, but next time let us know what keys are remappable, as some KB manufacturers dont allow fn/win/etc keys to be remapped, and those are generally the most common ones aside from caps lock to change. If you want to set yourself apart from other reviewers, add a latency measurement. If your camera has a 1000fps mode, you can count the frames from actuation to execution. People have been doing this to mice for ages, I'm surprised no one does this for KB as it can make a difference for strafe aiming in fast games like Quake/Apex/Fortnite. It might be hard to measure, as each key has actuation in a different part of the stroke, but at least its an idea. If you need another 65%, the Ducky One 2 SF is a good option if you do another review. Anyways, keep it up!
@GameProgrammer794 жыл бұрын
this keyboard is simply garbage .. a critical reviewer would not even rate this keyboard. why? starting from keys itself, construction and that horrible key sound especially from space bar, spring ping noise from each key.
@Flaimbot4 жыл бұрын
a point that's somewhat important for me are the height measurements table-to-spacebar and the same for the numbers row. just a still image with a measuring tape (i think both SI and freedom units should be on it) next to it is good enough. if you wanna be fancy about it, you can add a horizontal line to each of the rows.
@-Taerar-4 жыл бұрын
I think it is a solid review overall. Maybe add a short segment of single key/spacebar presses and some typing to give a better idea of the switch sound. A decibel meter would be good as well to measure overall loudness of the keys in this segment. I rarely see anyone measure the overall loudness in dba. Comparing it to another similar keyboard side by side during this sound test would be nice also. If you end up doing a lot of keyboard reviews you could chart them my dba, form factor, switch type, hot swap capability, price etc. If you’re looking for specific keyboards to review I would like to see a review of the Razer Huntsman Mini 60% here with the linear optical switches. I’m trying to decide if I can give up my F keys to switch to one of those.

I've been using 60% keyboard for about 3 years now. I've only recently needed a F key to agree to warp. other than that, none of the games i play use them. so really it's just about what games ppl are playing. if someone doesn't use the F keys often, 60/65% is great for deskspace. otherwise TKL unless you're a keyboard nerd and have one of those weird 65%+F row keyboards. but if you are, and you're reading this...why did you even watch this peasant review this toy?

proud owner of the FC660C. the major difference to those normal mechanical switches is that they are electrocapacitive topre switches - those make up for the price premium. there is the FC660M which perfectly hits the 110$ price point with regular mx switches and is probably just as well built. regardless, the usual feature set required by average adams like RGB and and software support are not available at the same price point in the enthusiast stores for snobby sebastians - partly cause they care more about PBT keycaps for example :D

Try the fade animation, but with very low brightness, see whether the fading animation is smooth or not. How about the fnatic op? can it remap the key properly? have you tried to remapthe profile 2 key as a delete key? can it remap the profile 3 key to page up key? Try to configure the colour mode = gradient. Then choose 2 colours. Eg, green to green, or blue to blue. then lower down the brightness. See whether in your model, the colour shows correctly or not?
