I enjoy seeing the streets and roads I grew up on. Myrtle Ave., Cypress Ave., Jackie Robinson Pkwy., Sunrise Hwy. all fond and familiar places. Thanks! BTW, I paid $2.97 for gas today in South Carolina and I didn't tell my wife Gas, Weeds or Donkey but when I got home I cut the Grass!

So...I recently got a chance to ride the ST and a S and of course I've got opinions. I thought originally, based on practicality that I'd be better to start with the ST with fairing and hard bags getting me closer to being a daily commuter/touring machine to fit my style BUT as I figured the factory windshield was too low for my torso making it unbearable in a full face with the shield up at speeds over 40mph, and I hardly ever ride with the shield down in the summer, but just by seat of the pants guessing I'd say the windshield needed to be another ten inches higher and that thought broke my heart to think of ruining the gorgeous aesthetics of the windshield on it now, and I know that if I tried living with a shorter windshield, I'd wind up hating the bike...like I hated the factory seat which put the rider with a 34 inch inseam too far forward putting my knees in a high position and making the forward mids feel too high when they probably were fine with a different seat. AND taller risers. At least ten inch risers, I developed a cramp in the middle of my back within ten minutes and a ghost pain in my wallet doing the $2000. math just to get it ergonomically rideable for me... But I love the 117, the power was linear and smooth, added with the gobs of ground clearance and quiet mufflers, it felt light and flickable like I was riding a foreign sport touring machine, and I'm sure it would be a very capable competitor against foreign competition in the right hands, namely your humble author...and I hate to say and will deny if asked, but I kinda dug how quiet it was albeit yet another ugly factory exhaust system. The whisper quiet sounds made a person forget they were riding a Harley and within minutes I was thinking "every Harley hater on Revzilla's Facebook post has never ridden this machine." The S had straight risers and a real speedometer, (did I forget to say I hated the digital gauge on the ST?) And while the S needed ten inch risers as well, the ergonomics didn't make me feel like I was doing unnatural acts with pigskin...as much. And it occurred to me that I preferred the S, yes I would have to get saddlebags, but Viking has a lot of solid offerings and I'd have to come up with a fairing/windshield system, and I keep day dreaming about building a Harley version of a rally dash/windshield system, complete with a set of LP4's...yeah ghost pain in the wallet again, but there's a lot of leftover 23's at the dealers at decent prices for a new bike. But ultimately I didn't due to the fact that the two dealers I was dealing/considering with believe it's 1995 and that trading in a Harley must mean the buyer has a degradation fetish

That's what's up! I also always find myself doing an anual ride out there. There's something about scaling the entire island and looking out off that point that just brings this feeling of completion 🏁⚡️

How long did you wait for the Fab28 exhaust to show up from time of order? I placed an order with them back on March 21st... and read 4-6 weeks manufacturing time. Cannot get Adam to reply or give me a heads up on time-frame to ship my exhaust. I could have ordered a Sawicki and had it the same week, or could have even gotten and HPI by now. If you have a way to reach out to him, ask him whats up with their sh!t customer service and lack of communication.
