First off, I’m from Tennessee just like the Doc and his wife. I have my hair in the exact same style with the hair tie watching this video for the first time, AND I’m a fashion consultant to many well known actors, actresses, tv personalities, singers, authors, and well known judges. People from Tennessee are real and down to earth. She isn’t trying to get attention. She is yawning and scratching because that is what low thyroid does to you, as well have having temperature problems with hot and cold; sweater half on and off. It makes you tired and gives you skin conditions. I know because I have the condition as well. She also mentions that “her generation isn’t familiar with the Yugo car.” I am dating a man who is 36 and I’m 68. We’ve been dating for four years, and yes we also communicate differently, but the love is there. We are past the trying to impress each other stage. And no I don’t feel like I’m dating my son as I don’t have children. He has little children. You heard her say that she was trying to get pregnant and that is when she discovered she had low thyroid. If she hated him as someone said why would she want to grow a family with this man. You don’t have to like anyone, but to sit behind a pc and go after his wife is so rude. He and his wife are doing us a free service and at the very least you could stop projecting your low self opinion onto this couple. You don’t know from where you speak about their love, professionalism, true meaning behind their interactions, how she dresses, or life together. BTW their friends are watching them live and she is saying hello to those friends while the Doc speaks, not flirting behind his back. That is her part in this video to relay the questions and hellos. If you can’t say anything nice, say nothing at all.

I just want give you some info that my doc discovered last year...I have Hoshimoto's disease and was in a thyroid storm while taking Synthroid...every month I was getting my blood work done and every month my meds had to be adjusted. He asked me if I had ever had Mono...I had when I was young...problem solved. He found out that the components in the synthetic thyroid meds were similar to mono, thus my body's antibodies were fighting off the medication as if it was mono trying to attack me again. Once I was switched to Armor Thyroid, voila...RELIEF! But...I'm doing Keto now, so that may be fixed soon as well :) I love you guys so much! Thank you for what you do to simplify things in laymen's terms! I refer you dozens of times a day on my keto for beginners fb site!

Okay, I'm editing this comment to be more mindful and caring of others' feelings. Good information we all desperately needed, and I adore your family, BUT for some strange reason Neisha is coming across like a sulky teenager in this video, with all the eye rolling and pouting. So Strange. She's lovely. Wishing you and your family every success, and thank you both for all of your wonderful videos - but I'm not sure I could watch this dynamic again. Stay blessed sir 💐

Adding IF has helped me feel well but not lose weight. I feel like saying that to those who are type 2 and have PCOS, is not very helpful. If the person wasn't doing IF than sure, but many of us are eating Keto and doing IF. I will say, I'm not using sinthyroid or any thyroid treatment, and that might be why I'm not losing weight as fast as others.

Dr Berry and Neisha (hope I spelled that right). Thank you thank you thank you! I can’t even express how much this has helped me! I feel like I can go to my Dr with an educated conversation now. I bought your book after binge watching your channel and seeing it in the background. I have read close to a dozen books in the past 4 months in Keto, carnivore, “lazy keto”, etc. You and Maria Emmerich (Your podcast with Maria is how I found you) are my favorite. This particular post seriously has opened my eye to my thyroid issues. WHY WHY WHY do all doctors not explain your thyroid in this way?!?!? I mean I know why after reading your book but SERIOUSLY!!!! I was prescribed Armour Thyroid several years ago from an amazing Dr that started as my family practice doctor. He delivered 2 of my babies and took care of my family for years. He switched to a different practice and started taking care of hormones etc. and did a great job checking everything you talk about. But then he switched to like a membership practice that you had to pay a monthly fee for. At the time we were young and really couldn’t afford to continue with him. I found a new doctor that I love...but...after researching how to take my health in to my own hands and finding you I am questioning EVERYTHING! My doctor told me that I didn’t need thyroid medication anymore. I heard the rumors about it being dangerous and so I stopped about four years ago.Over those years I have gained a lot of weight and become more and more unhealthy depressed, and “lazy”. I have been on every kind of medication that you can think of including 20 mg of Lortab or Percocet 3 to 4 times a day after a horrible motorcycle accident and reconstruction of my right shoulder. Although my pain is real I also understand that I am very dependent on the medication. My husband has been frustrated with my doctor and feels like he is a “pill popper” prescribing doctor and will do and prescribe anything to keep you coming back every three months. He will pretty much listen to what I want and give it to me. I have never abused my meds but I am definitely dependent on them. The last time I went in for my prescription refill visit which is every three months (so pathetic! I know!) I asked him not to write my prescriptions for Adderall, (that was hell to get off of) Klonopin, Gabapentin, Roboxen, and to cut my pain meds from 6 to 8 10 mls a day to 4 a day. I also asked him to retest my thyroid and from my past Dr knew to ask for the T4 test not really even knowing what that meant. Well now I do!!!! I seriously got up while watching this and took my Armour Thyroid! I know how good I felt when I took it and I am so ready to feel that way again. I am ready for my next visit with my doctor armed with your book (my copy and one for him) and a list of questions 4 pages long. I love my doctor and know he means well, but after watching all of your videos and reading your book (in one day) I don’t know if I can continue to go to him if he doesn’t see the problem with the way he is practicing. When I first started keto he told me it wouldn’t work and all of the normal information that doctors give about your dietary health. Since starting the keto genic diet about four months ago I have lost 30 pounds I’ve stopped taking my blood pressure medicine, cholesterol medication, depression meds, ADHD medications, gabapentin, roboxin, and cut back on my pain meds more than half and am trying so hard to not take Ambien. (I know, I know!) Anyway...thank you so much! Keep up the good work! I will definitely be sending some money your way so you can keep sending out all of this amazing info. I seriously have thought about flying out from Utah to see you! I just don’t even know how to find a doctor that will listen! But the search begins! XOXO to both of you!

I absolutely love your channel. I wish we had doctors in my town of Tuscaloosa Alabama like you. My mother, sister, and aunt on my mothers side have suffered with thyroid disease for a long time and I personally have been struggling to get a doctor to listen to me when I tell them I feel like this is also my problem. Since I can remember I have had fatigue and severe sweating and heat flashes all day every day. Me always being hot and overheated has put a huge stall on my life. Could the fact that I’m always hot when everyone around me is cold be my thyroid indeed. I swear in winter and go no reason at all but I also sweat because I am hot all day, every day. Excuse my language but it is as if I’m walking around in my own personal hell.

This was so informative! My T3/T4 tests are on the extreme low end of normal and I was told all is fine. Waiting on some other results and then I'm going to ask! Also, my husband has nodules (which have multiplied over the past few years) and he's had an ultrasound and a biopsy of some sort and told all was fine but it just seems like they shouldn't be multiplying to me! I told him to ask for a T3/T4 because all they ran was TSH just like you said. Thanks for the great information!

You mr berry are truly a gift from God I'm going to talk to my doctor i have felt like a sloth for 8 years telling different doctors i believe this is what you feel like if I had cancer they sent me to all kinds of specialist i really couldn't afford ran all kinds of MRIs, ct scans, colonoscopie, even stretched my throat because i would choke on medication, have had a higher white count for 8 years, was even sent to a cancer doctor to find i had 4mm nodules on my right lung, i begged them help me I can't stand feeling like this no energy like I was unplugged, i ended up having a hernia fixed, back surgery and here I am my whole body hurts, i feel worse then ever was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, doctor ssid lupus is attacking my joints because i quit my rhuematologist because he was a ass, unable to work 8 years trying to pay for all of this out of my pocket, no one listened no one, but now i just got back some results its not all that you suggested but ot was enough to ring the bell in my brain, Especially when you ssid about the eye brawls, so my TSH was 1.37, free T4 1.01. I feel terrible i have a appointment with a new rhuematologist in January it was the soonest i could get in, but most of all I'm disappointed and hurt that the doctors here allowed me to suffer so I'm getting a appointment for next week to see if I can get my doctor to try me on armour and do all the test you suggest because my whole body literally hurts down to my bones I have been keto since sept losing slowly and I just wsnted to day God bless you i know you and your wife were put in my path for a reason. I'll update the conclusion and maybe I'm just hoping for a cure but I feel like you nailed it. Have a merry Christmas and God bless you both may God give you your hearts desire.
