MAN I'm sayin. I thought until this very day that the item system simply would not allow you to be that far behind. My chick plays mario kart for the sole purpose of looking at all the cool stuff hidden in the levels and items will have her finishing 7th 8th overall not even trying. Like she will be in 11th or 12th place and get a lucky bullet or lightning right at the end and she will jump up to 4th or 5th place automatically. That means ltg is SO bad, he isn't even close enough that bullets and stars and lightening can help him. EVERYONE was lapping him.

The saddest part about Dale playing MK1 is that by trying to brute force a zoner playstyle (because that's all he's known how to do since SF2), he's shooting himself in the foot. While he does a measly 50-90 damage per projectile or slide, he gets rushed down and 3-4 touched. Like as soon as someone like Cage gets in, it's gg since he has no idea what to do since zoning isn't an option anymore.
