Been mixing these and videos on Current, Voltage and Resistance. Super fun AND educational. Thanks a lot for the content.

Great video. To run multiple zones, do you need separate transformers?
@LightingDoctor3 жыл бұрын
It really depends on the transformer, but if you can easily get a transformer that can handle 2 to 5 seperate runs

I’m just beginning to research this topic for my home, and this was a great starting point. I really wish you had a better video editor, though! :)

Thank you for clarifying the wiring from the transformer, so it’s just one 12/2 cable, and you continuously splice at each light fixture and continue until the last one, and this works even if you have 12 lights? The big question I have which I cannot find an example of, is that a typical home from the front view has a left and a right side split by driveway somewhere in there. I watched how to run cable under a sidewalk if you want to get to the planter, but I have trees and planters on each side of the driveway, the left side of course is the larger side with the walkway to the entrance with trees and Flowerbeds and such, to the right is the garage doors, the driveway and more grass trees right of the driveway. do I have to run two separate systems with two separate transformers? How do you light a house that has a left and a right separated by driveway?? To me this seems pretty typical that 90% of homes have, but yet I have never seen an example showing this.

Thanks for a great video. What about lights that have a neutral wire along with the other two (positive and negative) wires. Can I still use the low voltage wiring? Thanks

These videos are very helpful but I am having an have an issue with a wire run that for no reason stopped working. I dug up the cable leading to the first two lights in the run and replaced all the connectors with your recommend waterproof connectors. Tested the system and all the lights came on several times with no problem. I then buried the cable thinking I solved the issue and later that night the lights would not come back on. All the other lights coming from the transformer work fine. Any ideas?
