Thank you, I appreciate the video. Reviews like this are a huge help on making a selection on products we can't touch or check out. Having neighbors so close, we can hear each other cough...noise consideration was a huge factor in cymbal selection. I listened to multiple videos on low volume cymbals and from what the comments are reading, the Big Guy is not always the best alternative. After watching this video, I put in a order for a cymbal pak because I believe for the cost, this product exceeds costlier low volume cymbals. Great work Brother! Keep Drumming!

@@edwardkaminsky8142 hey buddy, I just put in an order for this same pack and I am stressed out hoping they won't be too noisy for my wife/kids/neighbors. Have they been a good fit for your situation?
@edwardkaminsky81427 ай бұрын
@mustafahasan5047 You will like these. Perfect choice, and the price was right. I have since started lessons and will buy used cymbals one at a time from Guitar Center, Reverb music, or Ebay. Expect to pay a bit more for b-20 cymbals if that is the route you choose. Following is what I have added in 2 years. 1. Hi- hats. Paiste 900 series 14" Cost $250. Paid $93 2. Sabian 16" crash XS20 series Cost $225. Paid $72 3. Sabian 18" AA thin crash Cost $320. Paid $109

What worries me with these is They sound similar in volume to a real cymbal They sound really good They do not seem very muted. The (over-priced) Zildjian set I have , felt more like a real cymbal than any I go to try but it took about 18 months for the 16" crash to crack.
@patrickvalentino73652 жыл бұрын
Sounds good !!! Where did you get these ? Are they arborea mute ? Thanks
@rockdalecop2 жыл бұрын
I got them on Amazon! Ones I got say Mosico on them. But If you research Mosico on Google, it pulls up Arborea so I asume they’re one of the same. These Mosico sound great!

Right now there is a special on them for 79 bucks. But it's the mosico which is distributed by aborea

I have this set. Is it me or the hihats really don't sound great?
@rockdalecop2 жыл бұрын
They’re not that bad. But the sound of the rest is actually really good.

@@rockdalecop Yes the Crash and Ride sounds great, but the open hats are really annoying with a ringing hi pitch.

Is there any actual difference between musico and arborea cymbals? I assume all were the same, until someone on another thread pointed out musico's sounded better. Also, how are they holding up? Debating on which to go atm
@rjf3972 Жыл бұрын
I had similar questions and I emailed Arborea. their response was "our arborea cymbals are thicker. Because some drummers prefer the thinner cymbals, we released the thinner mosico cymbals. If you prefer thick cymbals, we recommend you choose arborea cymbals". I ordered two sets of Mosico's - one that was listed as a 70% sound reduction and the other was 90% (with many more holes). After listening to both, I thought the tone of the 70% version was better and kept those.
@brucew1836 Жыл бұрын
@RJ F I appreciate the reply, pretty straight forward. So you ended up getting the thinner musico's? I definitely rather achieve lower tones, Arborea's ar thicker? Then I'm assuming the overtones are a higher pitch? I got the Arborea's coming in the mail, but if what your saying I'd true, I'm going to have to return them for the thinner Musico's. I'm thinking I'd get the same as you did, as indont need them too quiet. Do you have a link for the Musico's? Thanks again
