Mikey and his wife Kat ventured off in the beginning of September to Narrowsburg, NY for the infamous Gypsy Run put together by Walter Gemeinhardt of Kickstart Cycle Supply. They Gypsy Run started in 2007 and only missed one year, making 2019 the 12th one to go down. Usually filled with tons of rain, this year's party was nothing but sun, riding, oil covered calipers, friends, party tats, near death experiences, a killed turkey from a Panhead, drinking, and tons of yard games. I was right behind a guy who went down on Gypsy run 2019. Dude was on a Sportster; he took a turn wide going over the hills in the Minnewaska preserve south of the Ashokan Reservoir. Went right over his handlebars. Thankfully he was ok. His bars broke off a the risers; wasn’t sure how he kept riding. But he did (really strong duct tape?) This was one of the best motorcycling experiences I’ve ever had. I love watching this clip; brings back good memories.

This is it! I decided this summer that I'm going on a long ride next year and seeing this video and realizing that this is only a 9 hour ride from my home in Maine! So this is my destination for my ride next year! Up to Burlington VT then on to Saratoga NY then into ann Arbor Michigan back to the gypsy run then back home to Maine! This video was the missing link too finish my ride! I can't wait to get on the road! Gonna be a long year waiting!

Brian Schroeder we bought a new oil cap, cause the one she had was junk, then brake cleaned the caliper and pads and washed it off. Been better...
