I believe those two Jack's you caught were Almaco Jacks, they have that high hooked dorsal, the lessers stripe starts at the eye and doesn't extend to the nose like the Greater and Almaco.

Good video, my first checkout dive was at the J buoy in 1982. Been to the snapper banks and what we call the Texas tower many times. BTW, my dad placed the J buoy for the Corps of engineers and also found the Ironsides civil war ship by Fort Jackson, in the Savannah river, my summers were spent working on his boat for the Corps which he worked for 44 years. He surveyed the intercostal from Savannah to Kings Bay sub base in Brunswick and the shipping channel coming into Savannah.

Love the channel Dan. I live very close to Georgetown SC and Love salt water fishing. Sadly I don’t get to go much bc I’m always working, but that’s going to change here soon.

Why are open face reels always left handed
@LowCountryFishing Жыл бұрын
Most of these reels are actually right handed. It’s generally tougher to find them right handed then left.
