This is the best relief I’ve found for menstrual pain. I find it hard some days on my cycle to do stretches on the floor, so this is a LIFESAVER being able to stay in bed!

Greetings I’ve always had back pain early in the morning I know a lot of the tube because I’m home overweight we can currently taking control with my diet to help me lose the weight but because I had a back accident many years ago back in the mid 80s lower back pain it was always been with me I have been a bit lazy over the years now I’m retired and I just did a few exercises in the morning this day which is Sunday to help me and I decided to find something else and this exercise that KZbin I just looked at I think. Michelle I love you!!! I’ve felt the slower I go and the longer I allow myself to stretch on either side the better my lower back feels. These are great stretches!! Aaaaaaaand then there’s your Australian accent....grrrrr... ;) that helps personally too. ;). Definitely need to include those knees to chest pressing against the stretch (pushing your buttocks) against the knees to really stretch your lower back. Thank you so much!!!!

i have severe lower back pain from a disc injury when i was 17. i also used to be very obese (weighing 340 pounds) thru diet and exercise alone i have gotten down to 170 pounds at 32 years old but my lower back hurts worse than ever especially when i wake up. i have started doing these stretches and it has helped me get out of bed in the morning. what would you recommend is the next step to starting to try to build strength in my lower back? keep in mind even these stretches can be excruciatingly painful on some days. thank you if you see this!

I have L5 S1 compression issues i can perform all of these except i cannot put the left leg up from the ventral kneeling position as it hurts as i start extending upwards my foot and tibia. But everything else is awesome i love lying down exercises because its easier for vertical compression issues.

I didn’t here you mention whether the core is tight during any of these stretches? I feel like tightening my abs alleviates some strain on my low back pain. I hurt around the belt line and every two years I have an episode. Like lightening striking me along the belt line and The muscles spasm and tighten the pain is a 10/10 and It takes about 3-4 weeks to go back to normal. 😅
