Is there a vid on how to test the rep maxes? Do you do it before your working sets? On the last deload before the first strength block in the app. Loving it so far

Love this content. I am learning so much from you guys. One question on deadlifts. If you have a preferred style, say conventional over Sumo is it better to dedicate your training to one lifting style over a macrocycle or should you alternate training styles for each hypertrophy block. Thanks.
@JuggernautTrainingSystems3 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Discussed that some here: kzbin.infoYHW_LZVovYo?feature=share typically we only use sumo in Hypertrophy if a conventional puller’s back needs a break or there is an adaptive resistance issue.

I wanna ask cos I’m not a power lifter and probably need a fair amount of training to lift 150kg. Is the position being taken not a weak position? Toes are out which is weak for the hips they should be straight correct? screwing into the ground. Is that not also a cause of back issues

Really liking the app so far, especially the logging and the exersise library are great. On a powerlifting block right now. One question/feedback tho. As a beginner im still pretty weak in absolute terms and i feel like i dont need a deload every 4th week, id like to accumulate for another week or two. The deloads feel more like detraining. Id be nice if the app could account for that.
@lukaslanger80773 жыл бұрын
Deloads feel out of place, no matter when they come. They alwys suck and are boring. Chad said in some video smth like "if you wait until you feel like you need a deload, its probably already too late". The point here is, you shoud not acccumulate fatigue until you feel beaten up. Especially not in a early hypertrophy Block, where your readiness should stay above 20.

First you'd have to get in one lol. And don't look at other people's relationships and dream that yours should be that way. Everyone's different. Let chemistry between you and your lover create a unique magic that only you two share together.

The Daniel Day Lewis of Powerlifting 😂 on another note, it's kind of a shame that nowadays you need so many disclaimers with regards to the exercises you do and how you do them because the random social media expert will never fail to comment on your form, physique and shower you with advice. As if elite-level powerlifters or bodybuilders aren't aware of their knee dynamics under heavy loads or lagging body parts on stage, but luckily the non-achieving armchair lifter is there to save the day 😅
