Lower Claerwen dam in a Ineos Grenadier & Land rovers! | Pt. 2 | Rocky track | Great lane & views!

This is the third and final part of our Strata Florida & Claerwen dam trip.
Today we drive Lower Claerwen dam, a rocky, fun and in some places challenging track! With great veiws.

The Ineos Grenadier we were in today comes with the BMW straight-6 twin-turbo diesel engine that produces 249hp & 550nm of torque. It has off-road and wading mode, but this model does not have the front or rear diff lock, just centre diff-lock and low-range.
The ineos has 264mm of ground clearance, 800mm wading depth with great suspension travel and comfort!

All our current uploads are filmed in our 2004 Red & Silver Suzuki Jimny, and can sometimes include other peoples 4X4's and sometimes us plus others in the Ineos Grenadier.
If you`re unsure of a green lane get out and walk it first as safety is the top priority.

Yes, this lane and strata were the highlights! Although all lanes we did were brilliant, for scenery or nice challenges. The sun?!? In wales?!?! 🤣

@mag_Shropshire that's reassuring, indeed 99% of the videos I've watched on the grenadier have been reassuring, I have driven off road in one at the game fair,Ragleyhall,and it was impressive, and so my 110,special vehicles will be up,forsale after 22years,of memories. That track's not a BOAT. Have a look at the Powys definitive map - you'll see the tarmac road the other side of the river is marked as the BOAT. I suspect the change was made some years ago. The OS map shows that track as a BOAT, but the definitive map is the one the courts will go by. On the definitive map that track is marked as a bridleway.

thanks for your comment , we check all our routes with the ROW of council and the route we took is legal for mpv users at the time we drove it, we are also GLASS members and their database also shows the route as legal
