Old post I know but your root is breaking because the undead frogloks do ghoul root which over writes your root in this video. Anyways thanks for the videos they have helped me a ton.

Nice man! welcome to P99. You've chosen the right class that's for sure haha. definitely go through the videos on the channel and you'll see the techniques and things you need to know. my early ones, i was just learning the ropes myself. Compare those to my latter ones and you'll see what you'll need to work on. Grind out in high ZEM zones until 30s and then soloing becomes great. Definitely a fun class, if a bit daunting (more than a few times had a charm and root break both at once and two angry mobs are chasing me to the zone line rofl). But I am guessing it becomes easier with practice and levels so I plan to stick it out. Gonna go through all your videos when I get a chance (soloing Seb? that's hardcore. xD).

@@KayossSZ oh that will happen often haha. if you want to do some of the solo stuff, expect to die more than most lol. but it's worth the fun a lot of times. After lvl 40, charm becomes much more reliable. Before that, it breaks way more often. You'll be surprised at what an enchanter can solo. What takes full groups of high 55+ teams, we can do as a one man show. It's awesome

I wish I could remember my password. When I stopped playing I had a max level Necro wearing some decent high end raid armour from Castle of Mith Marr. I would so love to play again after seeing this video. Lower Guy use to be my home.

you can check out my channel and I have a video about Enchanter gear that I went for in my first 50 levels... all stuff you can buy fairly cheap. Mostly, Charisma is most important... get that to 240-250 and you're solid... then intelligence for the mana... and as a solo dungeon crawler, HP is nice after that so you can take that one extra hit lol.

at this period, i was just using the default UI on the green P99 and just arranged it so my hotbar was next to my spell bar. It was a very ugly way of doing it haha. I eventually started using the Duxa UI on blue and now am stuck with default again on green :(. Thanks for subbing! Enjoy the content and enjoy the enchanter.

I have been lucky on lguk. Every time I'm in Innothule Swamp, I go down to Lguk just to check what named are up. It's often too busy, but in off hours, I've just been passing by and catch the frenzied a few times

Everquest has just Launched. You start playing, but you don't see anyone around you. You try to camp, but it just sits at 0 seconds. You can die. But now you are trapped in Vanilla Everquest by yourself. Have you been on your Allakhazam? Level 20 Unlocks log out to Character screen to create 'alts for boxing'. Level 50 Unlocks Boxes Or no Unlocks at all Good luck!

Hello, Just started a new enchanter on the p99 server blue. I don't have gear or money. The few plant I have was because a necro was killing guards at Kelethin and left 2 weapons on a guard to rot and I sold one and kept a dagger for me. Right now I'm at steamfont killing the kobolds since they con even at level 4 (not much cons even on high elfs starting zone). Besides Steamfont ...is there any other place to hunt while getting exp and gold? . I'm trying to save for spells for level 8. Since I have no gear except what came out of skeletons ; is it good to get tailoring for gear? or is it better to wait until dungeon crawling for gear? and if that is the case ..what dungeon would be the first one to get gear? lastly Is level 16 the level enchanters start doing charming to solo ?? I wish I could remember more about EQ lol ...it;s been years and most guide videos have their characters with good gear to start and plat . I have not seen a guide for enchanters starting from nothing with nothing. It's been fun leveling some toons to level 4 ..settled on the enchanter ..exploring EQ for the first time again its been fun .

Not the guy that made the video obviously but project 1999 has a great wiki for looking stuff up, it also has very active forums and an active reddit sub that will get a lot more eyes on your questions. Good luck in norrath!

Gear and plat come with lvls, just keep plugging away and checking the wiki on where to solo or group at the appropriate lvls. Solo is a hell of a lot easier with twinks, try to group more for easier gear camps.

welcome back to EQ haha. At your level on Felwithe, I'd head over Greater Faydark and kill on orc hill until around lvl 6-7. Head into Crushbone after that. Great thing about these two spots is the Crushbone belts that drop. You can turn in for a quest in Kaladim that gives huge chunks of experience for low levels. I've easily added 1-2 levels by turning in all the belts collected. You can sell the belts for 3pp each to other players too. I've not dabbled in tradeskills yet, so I'm not sure if tailoring is a good choice or not. I would assume it's profitable at the higher skill levels. You can start charm killing as soon as you want for sure. I personally grouped in the high ZEM zones until around lvl 40. Charm isn't incredibly reliable until around lvl 40, so I avoided it and just powered thru the grouping experience.

Man, you definitely need to get a headset. Your built in mic picking up your key presses is very distracting and annoying. You have good content and game play, but the constant key press sounds are a bit much to take. Headset mics are directional when it comes to sound pick up and will only pick up what you're saying and no background sounds (mainly key presses).
