update... this may be the worst apex season ever and i stopped playing for the most part i just coach and watch... i did one more ranked session after this video and i still havent edited it because i know im NOT gonna continue this series because its just not worth my time anymore... is this my apex retirement note? maybe.... passion is gone 100% tho

i dont remember what season it was but i think it was like 13 or 14 and ranked just felt perfect...what happened and why do they feel the need to change the whole ranked system every other season

Everyone has their own opinion that they voice plus the developers only do what’s going to balance the gameplay & keep player retention. And apparently they didn’t like what they saw.

My issue with it is i haven't played the game since 2021 and now that i came back it has me so high up with hidden mmr i can't keep up i got placed rookie 3 after all 10 prov matches my 4th game i won it and got 122 Lp like bro yet my friend ended up with 0 damage in a game and got 500Lp

This ranked system is designed to get people addicted to the grind. Newer players get more points to get them excited to reach new heights. Seasoned players get less because they know when they hit masters most will stop so they delay the progress. It’s systemic and blatant. I’m only done 2 other ranked session outside of this video. It’s been miserable.

This is ridiculous why should you be able to go against people in higher classes than you that should be the matchmaking if your skilled you will earn it by competing your way up to predator I swear stuff like this ruins the game

They are trying to “figure it out” I honestly think arenas while a trial phase for apex legends matchmaking to make things “balanced”. It was a failure but they pushed it to BR anyway because they put so much into it and now we are stuck with the system. This is the only ranked system I’ve played similar to this and it’s frustrating. But until I can think of an actual solution to each problem and present a solution I don’t think it’s fair to be mad. At least they are trying. Is it at our expense? Yes. Will we see better days? Hopefully before this game dies 😂
