That's an excellent bolt-on drop project. You are so right that looks fantastic. I did the rears on my 70 Elky and it looks perfect with the tires tucked. These cars look so much better riding low it's crazy Yo. Cool video!! Keep em coming!

Why not just unbolt the shock and drop the axle? I wouldn't want my paint getting all scratched up..

Remove lower shock. On right. Jack up left side. Right will drop down. Pull it out. Install new.

Man, I wondered about removing the lower control arm to get that spring out, but it was a bitch trying to get it in last time. In case anyone is wondering, you can do the same thing with the upper A-arm. That's what I did, today, since I can't remove the spring via ball joints (long story.) Cool video man, thanks. Great looking Chevelle.

When lowering from stock height 2" does the rear pinion angle need to be adjusted?

Definitely checked and not to mention check for vibrations of course

It doesn't change because he lowered it equally all around. Even if he just lowered the front 2 inches, the pinion angle change would be negligible.
