Looks like that bump stop is gonna have to go. Once you drop it and put any weight, you will be riding on it otherwise.

They make "ADJUSTABLE" spring plates... Best to just replace it and the rubber bushing once.. re-assemble then you can have infinite height adjustment with the same turn of a screw.

Great video. Say, I have a 1970 bus with a front a disc brake conversion. I’m wondering if I can lower the front end with dropped spindles? If so, could there be aware of any potential issues? Thx!

Can you tell me how much each click lowers the back end? I’m going with 2” drop spindles on the front and want to keep a good stance.

Yes, but be careful how far you go. If you stress the CV angles too far they will be constantly wearing out.

Only for rear lowering , front requires beam etc

Don't adjust the splines, spend the ~$300 and use horseshoes to lower it correctly. :(

Todd, what are horseshoes and how do they lower?

They bolt on and you can buy them based on how much you need to drop. They're usually sold by most places that have drop spindles. I have not gotten mine in yet but you should research the discussions and options available. Prevents unnecessary stress and wear on your rear suspension parts.
