lowering or raising the Rear Suspension on a vw bug

Sorry for the misaligned voice. I was having some downloading issues.
In this video i will be adjusting the rear end spring load or height on Night Owl for the third time. I will show you how to remove the spring safely and how to set both sides at the same angle. The Stock setting on a 68 type 1 bug with the spring unloaded and the car level, (meaning it is not under tension and you can slide it off the torsion bar) is 20 deg. this angle changes slightly between years and model of cars. i set mine at 18 deg, but i am also running the Atom works 2 1/2" drop springs.
Short swing axle 17 deg
67-68 long axle and IRS 20 deg
Beetles 20 deg
IRS 70 and up 21 deg
Recommended settings
Off road angle is 4 - 8 deg more. This will lift your car about 2" to 3"
24 - 28 deg
Lowering angle is 4 -8 deg less This will lower the car about 2" to 3"
16 - 12 deg

@@OFFAxisBuilds I did IRS, very similar, but not identical. Swing axle is a little easier.
