Just lowering springs on stock shocks and struts is half assing and handicapping springs. Go the whole way do it right the 1st time get the bilstein b8 shocks and struts.

Depends on the car. Some cars fair very well with stock struts but some dont

I went with Koni sport adjustable shocks with H&R sport springs. Love this combo.
