Just put mine on. I used the hose it came with but used heavy duty clamps. I feel much better about the heavy duty clamps than the clamps that came with it. Thanks for the video!

Your video helped me a lot. I ended up picking this exact thing up but went ahead and got a much better hose. The hose it came with is flimsy and has a small diameter. The hose I picked up was self fitting and sealed tight.

I just found your channel because I was looking for other people who had problems with Lowe's installing roofs or other things like carpet, etc.... We just went through hell with Lowe's and uploading video now to share. I see this video is not on installation from Lowe's but I'm so happy we found your channel. Ric, my husband usually fixes everything around the house so he will like your channel. We'll be watching from here on out. He didn't do our roof because he works and it was too big a project to do here in the Florida heat by himself so we hired Lowe's in good faith. Big mistake :( Anyway...great video! Melody

I think I'm going to give it a try,bit I'm going to attach screen wire to each hole so heat can still get out but no dust.

I bought this as my drier goes up through the wall and the way it’s designed through the wall and outside causes the clothes to take forever to dry. My neighbor also uses this. Tonight, however, I have water in front of the drier. Why? I don’t know. Also, the wall behind the water kit is wet. Is that normal? Can’t do anything about that? FYI I use this in my garage connected to apartment.

Here's an idea for the lint getting all over the place and condensation it can cause, get a mesh lint trap and surround the openings of the vent with it , lock it in with a releasable zip tie so it doesn't blow off when your dryer starts, release the zip tie and remove the lint mesh when you need to clean it. And for the humidity problem it can cause , get a dehumidifier put it in the laundry room to balance out the the condensation it causes

you are awesome. Thank you for sharing, saved me a whole lot of money. I was about to buy a ventless dryer.

I just bought this myself today. I'll be curious how you end up liking this after some good use.

+gmee123 Did about a week with it. It made us all really congested. I read where someone fabricated their own little filter to go around it. I took mine off and fixed it under the house.

+Exploring Alabama well, poo. Sorry to hear. I live alone, so maybe it won't be so bad since i only do laundry two times a week if that lol

@@gmee123 Hey, how it went to you? I live by myself as you (6years ago) I already bought this and someone is coming to install this and other stuff tomorrow So I have the chance of deciding if I wanna do it in a different way....

You have to put a filter inside the top piece covering the windows then it blow lint all over the place.

Question, I installed the lowes indoor vent kit and my dryer started to smell so I turned it off right away. Any ideas why. Just moved into new house dry was sitting for two weeks.
@ExploringAlabama6 жыл бұрын
Maybe the dryer always smelled and you just noticed with indoor vent? What does it smell like?
@ericblackwell703 ай бұрын
So my question is with that type of venting and the water inside the base, does that mean you don’t need the filter the dryer comes with?

Junk plain and simple , and if you are routing your hose under the house , you will have lots of mold and moisture on structure

hi, I need help to reduce a lint produced by this type of system. thank you if anyone can help me
@ExploringAlabama7 жыл бұрын
The problem with the water trap is once the water is covered with lint, any new lint just blows off the layer floating on it. It is useless.
