We recommend having professional service. In our service we not only video inspect and clean the vent, but also check for issues such as if the dryer cavity needs to be cleaned or a transition hose or a vent cover is damaged/ needs to be replaced

What is this? Didn't seen such a thing in Germany. We have a lint trap in the door of the tumble dryer. If you have an exhaust dryer, there is a hose for the warm, moist air to be directed outside either through an open window or a directly hole in the wall to the outside. If you have a condensation dryer, there is a container with water that you have to empty or a waste water hose. So what is it? There's so much lint, should that be an exhaust hose? But why is there so much fluff inside?

My momma dryer caught on fire once and I told her because she needed her duct cleaned. I was right (and this was in an apartment so she had to pay for the damages for not keeping it clean).

Surely you don’t build them like they do in US though? Metres of vent often going upwards or draped under the house?
@themischievoustwo659414 күн бұрын
@ Nope maybe not, but if we did.. we would probably clean them ourselfs.. 😂😂😂 Yes if i think about it, we have things like that.. My grandparents had wall vacuumecleaners.. With holes in the wall.. you just moved a VERY long hose from one hole to another.. And those, my grandfather cleaned himself.. But we are from northern Sweden and up here we are brought up to take care of shit our self’s 😂😂😂 Because it’s one house in a village and 10 houses a city! 🤣🤣 No, just kidding.. But almost.. 🥳

Why do they let that go into the air, what about pollution
@annabertholf50202 ай бұрын
Are you kidding me. Driving your car daily is much more destructive to our environment. Lint can be biodegradable depending on the fibers. Natural fabrics are, but lint from synthetic fabric is not. I honestly think w the number of people who actually clean their vents, it doesn't pose an ecological threat. Concentrate on clean energy measures you can take. We need to get our power from the sun and wind, not out of the ground. Cheerio, kiddo!😊
@marioncrawford56782 ай бұрын
@@annabertholf5020 I know all of that but any pollution is not good, and what fibres now is natural it’s all synthetics, and there’s billions of people have vented driers that throw out fibres every day. Okey dokey, kiddo 👶
@annabertholf5020Ай бұрын
@marioncrawford5678 I think I misunderstood what you were saying at first. Sorry. I thought you were referring to the lint released when the filters were cleaned, as in the videos. Mea culpa. I agree that the number of dryers and scads of lint is cumulative, therefore harmful. I miss putting my clothes out on a line, but at my age and physical health (plus my propensity to fall), it's not really an option any longer. It's a conundrum, isn't it? I wish it wasn't a problem we need to discuss, but we have all taken without giving anything back but plastic and synthetic, well, everything. What is sad is that people still refuse to believe climate change, and the fact that we are killing our planet are real issues. Thanks for your thoughtful conversation. Toodle-oo, darling one!
