For some of the younger folks this is a good comeback regardless of any job you're applying for. You typically get why this company etc and name a time you did xyz to showcase an example. ANYTIME ANYWHERE you're being interviewed and they ask the dreaded "do you have any questions for me?" Or something along the lines throw the same questions back at them . Ask THEM how long have they been there, what made them choose Lowes or XYZ. Company. Also doesn't hurt to ask is this a new position or would I be replacing someone. Whatever you do, when an interviewer asks of you have any questions always ask at a bare minimum why they chose the company and if it's a replacement or expansion position. Don't ever say "nahhj im good I don't have any questions". You may not give a shit but it does show that you can at least interact and in a sense it seems to put the interviewer in the hot seat.. good luck

I would have gotten the job but it didn't fit my schedule. But surprisingly I went into fred meyers to check the status of my Application, I spoke to the Hr and the manager position of the role I applied for I got hired the same day. Signed and did my background check there. Now I'm just waiting for the manager to call for orientation .

My interview went great and they only ask 3 questions, but I only remember 2.. they asked me were: 1) tell a time where you had to help a coworker 2) tell a time you had to finish something at a deadline I remember the 3rd question being “very simple”. I think I was like “would you be able to work the given times” or something like that

I don't know why I'm watching this cuz I currently work at Lowes. I started at customer service desk since that is kinda my background and an opening came up after a year for head cashier for closing. My best advice is for the younger people that if you plan on being on your phone, lazy, call out, ask to go home early all the time you should apply elsewhere because it's getting old training adults who have the mentality of children and are usually gone within a few months. Instead of bowing out graceful and giving a notice they pull the no call no show shit. Sorry just venting, I have a handful of people like that who are unreliable and lazy.. Sorry for sounding like an asshole but when we make the investment in someone to show them the ropes etc and they're already checked out it's a waste of time. Usually you can see these red flags a mile away like a new hire calling out within the 1st few weeks or showing up late.

@@Imbakifx i was actually surprised how unprofessional they were when I went in for the interview. The owner walked up to me no handshake or nothing and just said when can u work. I told him that a week prior I signed up for the stocker job at that Lowe’s location so I was expecting to be a stocker.he told me that they gave the stocker job to somebody else. At this point I was pissed because they didn’t massage or call me to tell me that they basically just gave my job away to someone else. He offered a different job in the store but the hours didn’t fit my schedule so I told him thank u for ur time and left. ALSO SOME OF THE PRICES THAT THEY SAY THEY WILL PAY U ARE A LIE. ONLINE AT LOWS IT SAYS STOCKR PAYS AROUND 17-21 an hour, when I went there in person he said the pay was 12.75 an hour. 💀 it was just a nightmare but that was how my interview/experience went. I didn’t get the job 💀💀💀

Hey man that seems to be the protocol. Ive been with Lowes 2 years and often wonder how some of the fucking dumbest 18 to early 20 year olds get hired.. theres a girl that mainly works self checkout and I kid you not didn't know how to hold a fucking broom to sweep the area. I wouldn't have noticed had she not said "don't laugh at the way I sweep".. she was holding the broom in a very abnormal way from the normal like palm up on the top of the handle to Palm down about 2ft away.. I am not even joking and thought to myself surely she's not that stupid right?.. she's an employee that. Is always on her phone, sits down in the chair at self checkout which is meant for some of the older employees, always has anxiety, asks to leave early because of whatever illness. Always has an excuse. God help the chump that ends up pumping his load into that waste bag... She is the definition of worthless.
