Little tip on the dragon fight raptors are really broken as the dragon cant reach them if they are at the dragons feet so if you dont have ascendent saddles for rex's or theri's raptors with prim saddles are really good also if you on fjordur or valguero you riding 1 deinonychus can solo the dragon because the bleed damage is insane also i feel ya it took me 72 hours of playtine to get an ascendent rex saddle bp

Every time I play Ark, I tend to get bored very early game and give up. I am trying to find a way to make early game more enjoyable as if I dont progress into later parts of the game, I wont be able to even beat a boss. Got any suggestions? (I will also post this comment on your latest video at the time I'm typing so you only have to reply to one if you feel like replying in the first place.).

It's a lot of work. Like... I started a couple months ago, but I enjoy busy work. However, so much of the game is esoteric like the bonus features on all the creatures, you need to look up a wiki, or if you go it alone, search the whole map for travel logs (they don't only give exp boost effect, but some also teach you about the creatures). And there's a bunch more, too like constructing feeding troughs so your tames don't starve to death. I only have about 10% of the logs and still don't have a bunch of concepts, recipes or resources nailed down at level 101, such as how to make Vegetable Cakes to Tame some passive farm-style creatures like Ovis (sheep) or the snails, and haven't found the recipe for it.. though I've looked it up, I still don't have honey or know exactly what to do to tame bees or whatever. I'd suggest just playing it like Minecraft until you feel comfortable in your survivability, THEN go dig into the various wiki. A final note... the way the game is set up without adjustments, you won't be seeing things at level 50+. The highest I've seen is about 32. That's effected by a server adjustment seasoned players use to mess with difficulty. Setting one of the sliders higher means stronger dinosaur that take longer to tame, but that means they're stronger when you succeed too. My strongest is a lv70 Spinosaur, and she's a wrecking machine. Oh, real final note... that huge fish that was messing up dude's boat? Remember this game was designed as PVP. That fish was added halfway through the game's life specifically to destroy rafts because boat forts were such a big issue. So if you leave the coast and enter deep water, there's a chance one will find you and wreck your boat. I killed my first save when that happened to me after like 2 weeks, bso be warned. However, with the knowledge I gained from those two weeks, I restarted and flew up the tech tree within 2 days. The more you play it, the better a handle you get on how to do the things you want quickly.

I really never see anyone do these 100 day’s challenges and never go for an moschops right away. They’re easy to tame, great at harvesting, good attack, good health, good weight, and don’t need a saddle.

The audio from the notes dont bother me too much, I can still hear pretty well but if you they annoy you, then you can turn down the NPC Volume I think it is to remove it

If I could ask; what settings do you use, because when I’m playing it’s either too high or low (I typically turn up resource gathering, bc I like to build stuff) but for Dino leveling and player leveling, what do i do with that?

In terms of XP I sometimes leave it at 1 but can put it to 3 depending on how long I'll have to record the vid. If you're struggling to level up I highly recommend XP notes and killing many baby rexs, thats my go to for levelling up

guys i need smth confirmed.. so when u beat the bosses do u teleport to another map or and if so do u need to do all the bosses like all gamma beta and alpha. or just one for each boss? cause haven't played pc ark yet only mobile so i have no clue

Nope, on the Island once you beat all the 3 normal bosses you teleport back onto the map and once you defeat the Overseer you get teleported back to the main menu. You don't have to beat any tier of boss to go to the next map, they only affect the ascension implant you get

The story maps (Island, SE, Aberration and so on...) have really rubbish levels so you just gotta keep killing the low levels. Alternatively you could play the free DLC maps, they have a lot of higher level dinos and you only need 20 rexes (try and aim for level 135+) to take into any boss on gamma and you should be good, Good luck!

I'd say he has his own server. I've only had the game a few months and been playing single player with the recommended settings for max lvl, using the destroywilddinos command and only get 120 max (water caves spawn way higher). But I've just joined an official server a few days ago and seen many wild Dino's upto 145 on land so far so I'm guessing it's server related. There is a guide to adjust single player settings to spawn max if you haven't done that yet. So I'm thinking max is 120 on single and 150 on servers for this map.

Thats just the way the Island is sadly, if you play on Steam you can install a mod which gives better distribution of levels so its easier to get high levels

I dont get this, so many have commented that. At 4:36 you can see me enter the fight on my parry. The rex is fighting a paracer and is getting killed by a raptor. The rex is almost dead by the time I enter the fight, all I did was deliver the final few blows
