I just want to say that I approve of the fast forward in the first couple minutes of the game. Obviously the live event casters can't do this and have to come up with something to talk about to fill time, but if it's recorded and you know that nothing interesting will happen for the next 2 minutes, by all means hit that + button.

From what I remember Immortals are the sc2 pendant to dreadnoughts in WH40K. A venerated warrior who is wounded too severely to fight on is encased in an immortal, so he can still serve. The Immortal is the dragoon technology from the broodwars, but they slapped a lifesupport tank on top, replaced the typical energy weaponry with twin linked heavy cannons and gave it the strongest shield available. The name comes not only from the reinforced shield and armor, but also because the pilot is a veteran from a hundred wars who refuses to die.

Dreadnaughts eventually fall to the black rage and go insane so they are put in a kind of stasis until battle to prolong the time they can get from the pilot. Tangentially, a dreadnaught (named Cassor the Mad) fell to the black rage and talked about himself in third person while fighting tyranids and screaming over his vox (loudspeaker) "Come traitor, come to Cassor. Come and fight. Come and die, but come all the same. Come screeching or in silence." A tyrannid Carnifex managed to pin the dreadnaught to the ground as a claw broke through its armor. "Pinned. Inconceivable. Cassor shall not stand for this, puppet of the false gods. Release me, so that I may wipe thy stain from this earth." (Carnifex opens its mouth to shoot a plasma ball). "Sorcery, you dare?! Suffer not the witch to live. So says Cassor!"

I know that's true of the dragoons. Probably the Immortals too. Fenix, in SC1, falls as a zealot and becomes a Dragoon. That's why they say "I have returned" when they are created from the Gateway.

The Void Ray is 600m in length, 280m heigh. A Star Destroyer (Original Design) is 1600m in length. That is still large for a VoidRay, considering it's basically a continual plasma/psionic beam with engines. A gun with legs lol

Scarlet is a great sortof-underdog to root for. She's no T1 player like Serral or Dark or Maru, she's no world champion, but that match where Maru tried to skill check her and she made him look like a horse's ass for it was *iconic* she is damned good at this game, and there aren't enough women in esports, which is another reason all on its own to root for the few we've got, and she doesn't disappoint.

Looking up the void ray on starcraft wiki... Length: Approx. 600 meters, Height: Approx 280 meters.... for us non-metric people that's 1968.5 feet long (the length of 45-ish city buses end to end) and 918.6 feet tall (assuming wide too since the dimensions seem the symetrical). So roughly 1/3 of a mile long and 1/5-ish of a mile tall/wide

I still think Scarlett's creep spread is #1. Other zergs have gotten close but hers is still the best I think, even Serral's isn't as good. Dark can be really good if he has a plan like a queen highway. Scarlett's spread is #1 imo.

To me it seems like the Zerg, just honestly sucks. Protoss can pump out Orcales, Void rays, and carriers or immortals in 5 minutes, and the Zerg just has no answer to them. Queens as anti air suck, Ravagers also.

Void rays are awful. So are tempests. They fill the same role more or less and neither does it that well. Basically anti armor flying units. Sure tempests can be siege units but toss generally doesn't have enough map control to really make use of that ability. Protoss is really just a patchwork of units to create some semblance of balance.

Astrea and Scarlett are professional players... But I wouldn't put them anywhere in the same league as the actual pros. They make common mistakes every game and do not seem to be getting better.

I do like Scarlett's style of dropping overlord creep and queen tumor's during her attacks. Allows for a faster engage/retreat that you don't see other Zerg doing very often if at all.

I agree with the comment about void rays. They are just kind of lame. They should be 2 units; you build a void prism, it upgrades to a void ray. Void prism are oracle speed, deal about void ray damage against bio, but terrible damage to anything else, but only have 20HP 10 shield. They build fast, and for cheap, but are a terrible value unless you upgrade them, EXCEPT used in a role similar to Oracle does early game. As it stands, and has since LotV came out really, if you see a stargate early on, you know it is going to be a scouting and harass oracle first. This is sort of what phoenixes were supposed to do with their lift...but it is awful for that purpose, really. The micro required to make it work is like 5x what is required with just using 2 oracles.

I think the attack pattern of the void ray needs changed... Have the damage tick faster (balancing damage per obviously). That way +1,2,3 makes it a lot better, kind of like the BC guns. Make it so it scales into the late game.

I also think they could maybe roll back the cost nerfs, but move the void ray higher into the tech tree. 2-gate void ray shouldn't be a thing, but if, for example, you had to build a Twilight Council first or something that could push it out of being a viable rush unit while still making it cost effective in the mid to late game.
